Story: Climbing Everest

But it’s obviously something big enough that Konstantin has been roped into helping them.

It’s nearly impossible to hide my grin as I look at each of them, searching their faces for some form of a hint.

Except…no one is smiling back.

“We need to talk,” Kato says.

My heart stutters and my stomach drops. I’m not scared, not of them.

But something is definitely off.

The men positioned around the property. They weren’t moving along a perimeter, rather haphazardly standing at the corners and looked as though they were barely paying attention.

The rather obvious announcement of our honeymoon location.

“Tell me everything.”

Chapter 44

Brixton

Everest is lying on a lounge chair soaking up the sun. Her hair is still damp from our swim. A swim that resulted in attempted ocean sex.

Attempted and failed. I’ve had sex in a pool, but I was also able to use the wall for support. Not only could I not keep the rhythm, but the salt water…yeah, that shit wasn’t fun.

Of course, I took her in the outdoor shower as we both washed away the salt water. And now, we’re both basking in the afterglow.

Fuck, she’s so beautiful. Completely at ease, the setting sun casting her face in orange hues, her eyes closed, one knee propped up as though she’s some kind of swimsuit model.

And she’s mine. Forever. As long as we all stay alive over the next few days, anyway.

I’d gladly sacrifice myself for her, but I’d much rather we get to enjoy the next sixty years together rather than wait for her in the afterlife.

“You hungry?” I ask her, keeping my voice soft so as not to startle her. I’m not even sure she’s awake. She hasn’t adjusted her position or said a word in a while.

She hums and stretches, reaching her arms over her head and pointing her toes. “Yeah. Kind of starving. I was just too comfortable to move,” she says with a sexy smirk as she rolls her head to look at me.

“Stay put. I’ll go make something.”

“Ooooh. My big guy going to be my personal chef? Feel free to hand feed me.”

Leaning over, I press a kiss to her mouth, then pull back only enough to say, “Keep it up and I’ll feed you something else,” against her lips.

When I push to my feet, I shake my head when she replies with, “Don’t make promises you don’t intend to keep,” obvious amusement in her tone.

The next few days are spent pretty much the same way, one of us hanging out with her while the other two make shows of wandering the property, swimming, anything that looks as though Everest has only the bare minimum for protection.

The men Konstantin left for us stay at the four corners of the property and are often spotted staring down at their phones, even sitting under a tree and dozing.

Were they my men and this was a different scenario, all four of those fucks would be either fired or dead.

But not only are they not my men, but…well, desperate times and all that shit.

At the moment, I’m reluctantly walking along a path, looking for flowers to bring my wife. I’ve run out of reasons to leave the house. Maddox is walking beside me, grumbling and bitching as though I’m any happier about leaving Everest at the house with Kato.

If they’re smart, they’re making good use of their time alone considering how rare it’s been for any of us to get one on one time with her since we arrived here five days ago.

Not that I’m complaining when I get the opportunity to tie her down and either edge her for hours or wring every orgasm I can from her while the three of us fill all her holes.
