She moved in deeper, until the water brushed just under her chin. Her collarbone disappeared beneath the milky surface. “Neither are you, technically. You’ve got meetings all day, don’t you?”

“I can tell.” She tilted her head, eyes full of mischief. “Especially after that shower.”

My eyes snapped back to hers. She smirked, unapologetically obvious over the fact she’d violated my privacy and caught me getting off to her. The one thing a bodyguard wasnotsupposed to do.

I shook my head slowly. “Kali…”

She didn’t stop moving toward me. Just slow enough not to scare me off. Just close enough to blur the line between professional and personal.
