I kiss her bare shoulder. “Guess you’ll have to find a way to keep yourself busy without us.”

She rolls her eyes. “Like you two won’t be back every second you get.”

She’s not wrong. We might be heading to NHL training camps, but Blackridge, this apartment, her — we’re not walking away from any of it.

Caleb shifts onto his side, propping his head up with his hand. “We should celebrate tonight. One last night before we officially become big-time hockey players.”

Sienna hums, playing with the edge of the sheet. “Maybe we should do a hunt.”

Caleb raises a brow. “Like old times?”

She nods. “It’s been a while.”

I smirk. “You wanna be the prey, baby?”

Her lips part, her cheeks flushing slightly, but she holds my gaze and nods.

Caleb grins. “I like the sound of that.”

I pull her closer, my fingers tracing lazy circles against her hip. “Then we hunt.”

Sienna shivers, anticipation in her eyes.
