I walk into the athletic complex, weary and exhausted. This weekend was…insane. Unbelievable. Stranger than fiction. Saturday’s game was great. After, though, everything went to shit. Lyndell and Edee were attacked and Lyndell ran away. He was missing for hours.

Addy and I, along with dozens of other people, searched the campus and the surrounding area to no avail.

Edee fought off the attackers in the stadium concourse, giving Lyndell the opportunity to escape.

It felt like the entire campus heaved a sigh of relief when he was finally found.

Addy and I slept fitfully in each other’s arms Saturday night.

Both of us plagued by the what-ifs and why’s.

We spent Sunday at the hotel where Lyndell, Ty, Edee, and her parents were staying.

It felt good, really good, to hang out with friends that felt more like family.

Everyone safe and together. My parents spent time with us on a video call, needing to see for themselves that Lyndell was alright.

The man-child responsible for it all is going to be arrested. After some debate, Ty and Lyndell decided to press charges against him for violating Lyndell. Another of the guys there is being charged too, but a lesser offense, if I understood correctly.

My stomach tightens, the threat of puking washing over me unpleasantly, not for the first time today.

I’m about to walk into the locker room for practice after a full day of classes.

Forced to pretend that if given the all-clear I wouldn’t punch Shaye right in the face and kick her in the twat.

What she did to Edee and Lyndell is reprehensible.

Makes me wish we still used the pillory or being drawn and quartered.

That might be a little extreme…but I really, really don’t like her.

With a deep inhale and slow exhale, I open the door to the locker room and freeze. I look over my shoulder to make sure I’m in the right place. For some reason, I glance down my body, past my tiny boobs and clench the inner muscles of my vagina. Yup, still female.

“Why are there boys in our locker room?” I whisper, none too softly, as I meet Eva’s concerned stare.

“Squad meeting.” She shrugs. “And we outnumber them. Also, their locker room smells God awful!”

Addy snags my wrist and pulls me into his lap.

Despite the heavy mood of the room, I giggle and bat him away when he tries to kiss me.

“Boys have cooties!” Several people laugh until Jenna stands and calls us to attention.

I try to shift off Addy’s lap, but he wraps his arm around my middle and holds me firmly in place.

“It is with a sad heart that I address you all this afternoon. As most of you know, one of our own was attacked after Saturday’s game.

Lyndell is doing well, as is Edee Shingleton, however, the events have left many of us unsettled.

Considering what happened, watching them on surveillance video, I am deeply saddened and outraged by the behavior of not one but three of our cheer squad members.

Shaye has been released from the team and is on conduct probation with the university.

” I suck in a harsh breath at the news. It’s not ripping her body into pieces medieval style, but it’s something.

Jenna glares at someone behind me. “Jillian and Lindsay are also on conduct probation, however, they will remain members of this squad, provided they keep themselves in line.” Her tone is icy and lethal.

I’m sure glad I’m not on her bad side and I hope I never am.

“For today’s practice and workout, meet me outside, I’ll give you each a personal assignment, based on what I’ve observed of your performance so far this year.

” We start to stand, ready to get to it, but Jenna holds her hand up.

“I’d like to remind all of you…every single one of us struggles in some way, such is life.

It isn’t easy, it’s not designed to be, it’s the pain that makes us stronger, the adversity that molds us, the knowledge gained through trial and error that gives us perspective.

Life is hard enough as it is, why make it harder for someone else?

I promise you, it is far easier to lift someone up, then to keep them down.

” She waves us off after dropping that little nugget of positivity.

I stand and turn into Addy’s chest, my nose against his sternum. “People suck.”

He chuckles and I feel it vibrate on the tip of my nose. “Yes. They do.” He leans down to whisper in my ear, “But sometimes they suck so good.” I laugh, smack his stomach with the back of my hand and head toward my locker to finally stow my stuff.

Practice is a somber affair. Jillian and Lindsay are like bears with thorns in their paws. Lost without their ringleader and snapping at others. Most of us ignore them, working on improving ourselves and the team by listening to Jenna’s valued feedback. She calls it early and we’re all grateful.

“Itty Bitty.” Addy comes up behind me, wrapping his arms around my stomach and pulling me back into his body, his erection jerking against my butt.

“People suck.” I nod with a smile, reminding me of our earlier conversation.

“I suck, too. I suck your pretty pink nipples and your sexy plump clit.” My body flushes with sudden and severe arousal.

“You suck my cock, and you do it very well.”

He allows me to turn around, his cock now thumping against my stomach, my arms around his neck.

His eyes hooded with desire as he stares down at me with a sultry smirk.

I press a chaste kiss to the underside of his jaw, and whisper, “We can suck together.” He moans, redirecting my mouth to his, sucking my tongue, and driving me mad.
