Emmaline Jones feels like her life is perfect. Shes finally engaged to NFL Tight End, Chance Collins and recently moved to Charleston where she works as an ER Nurse.

Now being only half an hour from her hometown of Meadow Springs, shes ready to start wedding planning with her mom and best friends.

That is until she comes home sick from work to hear moaning from her bedroom and realizes Chance is in their bed with another woman. The only thing Emmaline can think to do is end her relationship, move back home to lick her wounds, and figure out what this means for her future.

Emmalines ex becomes increasingly unpredictable, and Spencer grows tired of fielding advances from the single women and their mothers in town. So, to get everyone off their backs, the two hatch a plan: pretend to date one another.
