Dixie ran inside, right to the counter. “Where’s Dylan? Has anyone seen Dylan?”

Darcey shot her an irritated look. She’d been in a foul mood since the contractor had arrived to quote for fixing the side of the fireplace in the lobby. She was bitchy every time Martin was anywhere in her range. “Dylan took off almost forty-five minutes ago, chattering about drones, like always, why?”

“I found her keys. I found her keys and her hat and her phone. On the ground. By her car. Her door was wide open. She never left. I can’t find her! ”

Marin heard. She grabbed the mouse from Caitlyn at the last computer on the counter. The one that had security cameras they’d all agreed to install after what had happened before.

Dixie crowded behind her sister and her cousin. Marin rewound the recording.

“There!” Dixie watched in horror as someone approached Dylan and just took her. Just yanked her right up and took her.

But at that angle, they couldn’t see who. Dylan’s car was in the way and her baby sister was just too small to see. And they just couldn’t see anything that would help at all.

“I’m calling the police,” Darcey said.

Marin was backing up the recording even more. “Abby was outside just a few minutes earlier. Maybe she saw someone?—”

Dixie heard men talking and she looked. Toward the dining room. Her father, Ben, Martin. “Ben! Someone took Dylan! Someone took her out of the parking lot!”

That was all it took to have them all running.

They had all been through this before. But then it had been their father taking Dusty. They had gotten Dusty back. But they didn’t know who had Dylan at all.
