Story: Wildling (Titan #1)
His gaze flicked past me suddenly, amusement dancing in his eyes. “And look—there’s a fire extinguisher right there,” he nodded toward the dusty red cylinder in the corner, grin growing. “Worst-case scenario, you set me alight, and we have to use it.”
I choked out a weak laugh despite myself, shaking my head. “That’s not funny.”
“It’s a little funny,” he argued lightly, voice dropping again. “But jokes aside… I trust you. Completely.”
He leaned closer again, mouth inches from mine, his voice a heated murmur that sparked the dying embers back to life. “Now, are you going to let your fears hold you hostage, or will you trust me when I say—I want to see exactly how hot we can let this burn?”
I hesitated, but only for a second. I wanted this. He believed in me so fiercely, so completely. And if he could face my magic without blinking, then maybe…so could I.
So I kissed him again—reckless, fearless, giving myself permission to finally let go. He groaned into my mouth, gripping me tighter as I sank against him, surrendering completely to the fire he’d ignited.
Without warning, Orion lifted me effortlessly, carrying me two steps before dropping me gently onto my back on the narrow bed.
His body followed, one strong arm braced beside my head, the other gripping my hip hard enough to bruise as he captured my mouth again.
The pressure of his weight, the intensity of his touch—it overwhelmed every hesitant thought, leaving nothing but raw need and delicious anticipation.
His lips trailed down my throat, leaving a burning path of playful, possessive kisses. “You say stop,” he murmured roughly against my skin, voice dark and heated. “I stop. Deal?”
“Orion, just take this damn dress off me already.”
His eyes darkened, the teasing glint suddenly replaced by an intensity that stole my breath away. “Yes, ma’am.”
He moved deliberately slow, fingers trailing a torturous line down the buttons of my dress, undoing each one like he had all the time in the world. His mouth followed his progress, searing kisses pressed to every newly exposed inch of skin, leaving me trembling and desperate for more.
Every brush of his lips lit something electric under my skin. I slid my fingers into his hair, gripping tight as his mouth traveled lower, the hand at my hip slipping upward, thumb skimming dangerously close to the lace at my breast.
“I’ve been thinking about touching you here,” he said huskily, fingertips tracing the curve of my waist. “And here,” he whispered, fingers brushing just above the swell of my breast, making my breath hitch. “Especially here.”
“Orion—” It came out as a needy whine, my voice breathless and shaking.
He chuckled darkly against my skin, a teasing smile pressed into the hollow of my collarbone. “Someone’s needy.”
Before I could retort, he tugged the last buttons free, pushing the dress from my shoulders and letting it slip to the floor. Heat flooded my cheeks, but the look on Orion’s face—pure hunger, edged with awe—made it all worth it.
His eyes swept over the red lace that hugged my curves, darkening with something possessive and primal.
“As pretty as these are,” he murmured, tracing his fingertips lightly along the lace’s edge, leaving goosebumps in his wake, “they also need to go.”
He peeled the lace down with excruciating patience, baring me inch by inch until I was trembling beneath him. I moved to unclasp my bra, but his hand slid up to press against my stomach, holding me in place.
“Orion—?”
“Eve,” his voice was all dark silk and commanding. “You’re going to lie there and let me enjoy this.”
He shifted lower, settling between my thighs as his lips ghosted down my stomach—slow, reverent. I gasped at the sight of him kneeling there, eyes burning with purpose.
There was no time to brace—because the moment his tongue touched me, the world fractured.
Orion devoured me like it was the only thing that mattered, dragging his tongue through the wetness that had been gathering between my legs all night. A raw moan ripped from my chest, my hands flying to his hair, desperate to anchor myself to something—to him.
He teased in slow, deliberate circles, each flick purposeful, each stroke designed to unravel me. My spine arched as he sucked my clit into his mouth, a sharp cry tearing from my throat.
“Orion—fuck—”
He chuckled darkly, the sound vibrating against me, then slipped a finger inside—slow, sure, coaxing me open. Then another. My body clenched around him, breath catching as pleasure tightened low in my belly.
“You’re close, aren’t you?” he murmured against me, voice low, reverent.
I couldn’t answer. Could barely breathe.
His tongue moved faster. His fingers curled—right there—and my world tipped sideways.
“Burn for me, Sunshine,” he growled.
One stroke. Two. And on the third—I shattered.
Pleasure detonated behind my eyes, ripping through me in wild, relentless waves. Orion didn’t stop. He didn’t let up. He wrung every last tremor from my body until I was boneless beneath him, gasping, undone.
When he finally pulled back, his breath was ragged, his voice hoarse. “Gods, Eve… the sounds you make?”
Then he tore the toga from his shoulders like it was the only thing keeping him from me.
I barely managed to lift my head—and then I forgot how to think.
The moonlight hit him like something out of a fever dream—silver and shadow, every inch sculpted. Broad chest. Rigid abs. That wicked V that led straight to—
Holy. Shit.
He was thick. The kind of thick that made my thighs tense instinctively, need flaring sharp and unrelenting.
Orion caught the look, fisting his cock with a hiss as he spread pre-cum across the head. “You were made for me,” he said, voice wrecked. “Remember that.”
I whimpered. Shameless. Desperate.
“Please,” I breathed.
His smirk darkened. He dragged me into his lap like he owned me, strong arms lifting with ease until I was straddling him, knees framing his thighs, breath tangled in his.
One hand slipped behind my back—click—bra undone in a single, practiced motion. The other cupped my breasts, thumbs brushing over already sensitive peaks, sending lightning through my spine.
“You’re so fucking perfect,” he breathed, stealing a kiss as I rocked against him, chasing friction.
Sparks bloomed where our bodies touched, every glide of skin against skin making it harder to think. I gripped his shoulders, fingers digging in—
And that’s when I felt it.
The magic.
A hot pulse burst from my palms—uncontrolled, unintentional.
Orion flinched.
I jerked back, horrified. “Oh my god, I’m so sorry—did I—?”
His breath hitched, jaw tight with the shock of it. A faint red mark bloomed across his collarbone where my hands had touched—but even as I watched, it healed. The skin knitted back together like it had never burned, the mark vanishing beneath my gaze.
He’d healed me countless times now, but I’d never seen it. I couldn’t look away. “That’s incredible.”
He reached up and wrapped his fingers gently around my wrist, bringing my hand to his mouth, kissing the center of my palm.
“I’m not stopping, Eve,” he said, voice low. “Not until you tell me.”
My heart was thudding so hard it felt like it might shake me apart. “I don’t want you to stop.”
His smile was pure sin. “Good girl.”
He shifted beneath me, voice brushing my lips like velvet and ash. “You’re gonna take me deep,” he murmured, “and slow.”
I nodded, dizzy, undone, craving everything he promised.
He lined himself up, guiding me down—inch by thick, impossible inch.
The stretch was brutal. Blinding. A broken cry ripped from my throat as my body fought to adjust.
Orion clamped his hand over my mouth, groaning low. “Easy, Sunshine,” he rasped against my ear. “Walls are thin.”
My body adjusted to him slowly, the initial sting dissolving into a perfect, overwhelming fullness. When we finally met completely, I was trembling. Orion’s breath shook beneath me.
“Fuck,” he rasped, eyes squeezing shut like he was barely holding himself together. “You feel like heaven.”
Tentatively, I rocked my hips forward.
His hold tightened as he surged deeper, and I gasped, losing balance and bracing myself against his chest. A fresh wave of pleasure surged through me, blinding in its intensity.
“So wet,” he murmured, voice rough and raw. He thrust deeper, slow at first, then harder—claiming every inch. “Are you always this wet for me, Eve?”
I couldn’t answer. Couldn’t think. Could only feel—
The rhythmic slide of our bodies, the fierce heat building inside me. For once, the fire didn’t scare me. I welcomed it, craved it, surrendered to it.
My moans broke free as his hand slipped up to cover my mouth again, muffling the desperate sounds while I dug my nails into his shoulders.
Orion’s rhythm turned erratic—rougher, deeper—as if my pleasure was dragging him over the edge with me. His breath came hot and uneven against my ear, punctuated by rough groans and filthy whispers.
“Fuck—baby—”
His hand slid from my mouth, fingers finding my clit, circling perfectly as he slammed into me. I gasped for air, clinging desperately to him, each thrust sending pleasure spiraling higher.
“This,” he groaned, voice nearly breaking as he drove into me, relentlessly, “is what I’ve fantasized about all week. How you taste. Those little fucking whimpers you make when you come. The way you say my name like it’s the only word you know.”
“More,” I whispered, dizzy with need. “Orion, please .”
His smile was dark and dangerous. “Insatiable woman,” he growled. “You asked for it.”
His hand tangled in my hair, fingers fisting at the roots as he tugged my head back, forcing a delicious arch through my spine. I cried out, the new angle pushing him deeper—harder—until I was whimpering from the stretch and the overwhelming need spiraling in my core.
“I want to feel you come on my cock, Sunshine,” he growled, voice shredded. “Be a good girl for me, won’t you?”
That did it.
I shattered—completely and utterly. My climax hit like fire, like flood, like every part of me had been waiting for this exact moment to break. My body arched, every nerve singing with pleasure as it tore through me in violent waves. The sound I made was raw, wrecked—undeniably his.
Orion cursed, a broken sound escaping him as his control snapped. He slammed into me one final time, burying himself deep as he came—hot and thick, his body trembling beneath mine as the tension bled out of him.
We stayed like that—heaving, trembling, still joined and wrecked in the aftermath.
For a long moment, we didn’t speak. Just held on. Breathless. Shaking. Spent.
Orion groaned as he pulled out and dropped beside me, dragging a hand through his tousled hair. “Gods, you’re amazing.”
I let him ease me onto the mattress, his palm cradling my head. My limbs were jelly. I couldn’t move. Didn’t want to.
I curled against his chest. “I think you broke me.”
He chuckled, smoothing a hand over my back. “Oh—shit. I forgot protection—”
“IUD,” I mumbled. “It’s fine.”
He flopped back with a sigh of relief, but reality crept in far too fast.
“We should go back,” he said. “Before anyone notices we’re gone.”
My cheeks flushed. Louise. The others. Oh god—how loud were we?
I glanced at him.
Still naked. Still smug. That grin should’ve been illegal.
He kissed me once more, then handed over my dress and shredded underwear like he was gifting me diamonds. “Here. You’re gonna need these.”
I scowled, fumbling with the buttons. “They’re ruined.”
“Let me,” he said, brushing my hands aside. His fingers were warm, deliberate. Slower than necessary.
When he finished, he held my waist and pressed a kiss to my forehead.
“I’m really happy right now,” I whispered.
“Good,” his voice was soft again, reverent.
I hesitated. “Do we have to go back?”
His grin came easily. “You’ve got two minutes to say your goodbyes. Then I’m taking you home and finishing what we started.”
A laugh slipped out—pure and unguarded. “We didn’t finish?”
“Oh, Eve. You have no idea how many more times I plan to ruin you.”
I opened my mouth to tease back—
And a bloodcurdling scream tore through the house.
