Page 30 of When Worlds Collide (Between Worlds #2)

I managed two whole days before insisting that Jihoon take me upstairs to his shared apartment.

It just felt too weird to be in the same building and avoid it.

I kept joking that he just didn’t want me to see how three guys living in the same apartment must live like slobs.

He insisted they were very clean, but refused to prove it until today.

We’d been watching a movie, but it was boring and this was way more interesting.

I’d crawled over his legs, immediately snaring his attention.

, instead of whatever-the-fuck was playing on the huge TV.

He’d grinned at me until I buried my face in his neck, kissing my way up his warm skin, enjoying the way I felt his pulse leap under my tongue as he grabbed my hips.

“Hmm,” the sound vibrated in his throat, tingling my lips. “What is this, jagiya?”

“I wanna see your place,” I murmured, brushing my lips against his jaw.

“We don’t need to go upstairs,” he rumbled, “we have a bedroom down here.”

I laughed, and pulled back to look at him. “How about you show me your bedroom upstairs?”

“It might be a bit weird to take you up to my place just for that,” he smirked, and I playfully slapped at his chest. His very nice, hard chest.

“Come on,” I whined, leaning back. “Are you embarrassed? Have you got a bunch of weird boy things there?”

“Boy things?” He quirked an eyebrow. “What do you imagine I do in my home?”

“I wouldn’t know, because I’ve never been! I bet if I sent a message in the group chat, Seokmin would tell me what number you live at.”

The night we’d decorated the tree, they’d added me to a group chat – just the four of us, because I hadn’t officially met Woojin or Minjae yet.

“In fact…” I leaned so far backwards that Jihoon had to grab my hips to stop me from falling off him, but I’d known he wouldn’t let me fall. I grabbed my phone off the coffee table and straightened up, just as Jihoon slid me closer to him.

“Hmm, this is comfy,” I grinned, wiggling my hips and giggling as Jihoon grunted. “But you won’t distract me!” I unlocked my phone, and made it all the way into KakaoTalk, before Jihoon grabbed for my hands.

“Okay!” He relented. “You win. We’ll go see my home, and if it is gross, it’s because I have not been there.” He wagged his finger at me, but I just grinned.

“Yay!”
