My hands smack against his shoulders as I bounce up and down quicker, digging my nails into fists full of Liam’s shirt. I’m panting so loud that I barely hear the next voice.

“It sounds like someone’s fucking around the corner.”

Liam’s lips come to my ear. “Don’t go silent now, Caroline. Let them hear how good it feels.”

That’s all it takes. The wicked, sweet release floods my body as a raspy “yes” catapults toward the sky.

Liam’s mouth drags up my neck, biting and licking the way up as he says, “You’re beautiful. I love you, baby.”

He lowers me to the ground, lifting my chin for one last kiss. “Now, let’s say our goodbyes. I want you in my bed, naked and all for me.”

“Done.”

His strong hand engulfs mine, giving me an anchor as I lean against him, walking back to the party on slightly wobbly legs. We round the corner, seeing two guys staring back at us, holding beers in their hands. Looking up at Liam, I laugh, knowing they’ve connected the dots, and the smirk on his face gives away the fact that he’s about to say something salacious.

Liam tilts his head, staring at the guys who look incredibly nervous.

“Did you hear anything?”

They both shake their heads quickly, swallowing.

“Good men. But I have to tell you, she tastes just as good as she sounds.”

I almost scream through my laughter as Liam wraps an arm around my waist, picking me up and rubbing his nose against mine as we walk away. He’s a maniac, and I love him.

“Hey,” he whispers. “I loves you a lot.”

“What a coincidence. I loves you a lot too. Guess that makes me yours forever.”

Liam kisses my lips sweetly. “And ever, Carebear.”
