Marco growled, but nodded. “Apologies, Father. I was just hungry still.”
“I told you to bath and return to me.”
“Are you angry with me for feeding on blood or the farmer’s son’s seed, Father?” Marco asked.
I had to think about his question. Honestly, I didn’t care that he’d killed Norman soldiers. The insult to me was that he’d fed on a cock that was not mine. One that I did not approve of.
“I care not that you fed on blood. I will not have you fuck or feed on any man’s seed without my permission,” I said, setting a rule for my first born.
Marco lowered his head. “I will not do it again, Father.”
“Good. Did you enjoy killing the soldiers?” I asked him to lighten the mood.
He grinned widely. “I relished every drop of blood. Every scream and every life I took. I want to wipe out their entire army,” he stated.
“We will not be here long enough for such an endeavor,” I told him. We had only two more nights, and on the last one, we had to be on a boat set to leave this land. Most of that was all travel time.
He held his meaty hands out before him, hands that were meant to hold mighty weapons. Hands that were meant to kill. He was so beautiful in his brutality. “With these new powers, I could easily kill them, Father,” Marco protested.
“We will need to set course for the sea, and need all of our travel time to head back. If you see your enemy along the way, I’ll allow you to kill them. This is the end of discussion,” I said.
Marco huffed in a gruff voice, but nodded. “Yes, Father.”
I was pleased at how well he was taking to his role as my subordinate. It seemed he had no problem showing me proper respect in stating my title and role to him. Perhaps that had more to do with his military training. Still, I was satisfied.
“I want to check something. Come here.” I sat up on the bed as he approached me. “Kneel.”
He did and I grabbed his chin, forcing his mouth open. “Let me see your fangs.”
He extended them and I pressed my thumb on the tip of one of his fangs until I was pricked. I felt Marco’s fang inject me with a tiny bit of his venom. The sensation was very pleasurable and I sucked my finger in my mouth, cleaning the blood off it.
“That is all for now,” I said. “You have venom as I do, dragon venom. To vampires and wolves, it could be deadly. Mine is deadly because I was born half dragon.”
Marco shook his head with a chuckle. “I still cannot believe dragons, werewolves, and if I wasn’t already one, Father, I would still have trouble believing vampires are real.”
“We keep to the shadows, our existence is unknown,” I told him.
“Why? We are powerful, why should we hide from humans, Father?” he asked.
“That is the way it is for now, and you will keep our existence secret,” I warned him.
He nodded. “Of course, Father. I would never betray you. You saved my life.”
“I know you won’t.” I turned to Titus. “His venom is not as potent as mine or a full dragon’s.”
“Still, I’ll keep my cock free of his mouth all the same,” Titus said, then he rolled over and I knew why. The sun was rising and we needed to rest comfortably for a change. For the next two days, we would be traveling by carriage until we reached the port where our ship awaited us. I was not looking forward to being at sea for another month or so, but it was what it was.
“Can the sun kill me, Father?” Marco asked.
“Stick your hand behind the curtain and find out,” I said.
He waited until the sun was high, then he did just that and when his hand didn’t burn, he exposed more of himself, making sure not to shine any light on Titus. I shielded my eyes from the rays of the sun and was pleased that my children would also be immune as I was.
“That is all, time for bed,” I said.
Marco joined me and I wrapped my arms around him and practically purred as I felt our connection fall into sync. It was the same thing I had felt as I fucked him. It was as if he was growing closer to me with the more intimacy we shared. Perhaps that was why I was so possessive of him. I was looking forward to learning more about what it meant to be a Father.
