CHAPTER 6

Cory

The atmosphere at Rapture was different from that of The Black Door. Not different bad, or different good. Just… different. The Black Door had an elite vibe to it. It was probably the fact that it was high above street level, hardly a place someone could randomly stumble upon. Unlike Rapture. An old church, repurposed for the most blasphemous reasons.

I loved everything about the space. The way they kept the integrity of the building. The stained glass. The heavy beams. They added an element of delectable blasphemy to the kink club. The energy in the building made it feel alive, like my pulse was part of its pulse.

I could have danced with Reese all night. Me pulling him onto the dance floor wasn’t what I’d expected to do, but as soon as I saw it, bathed in the light from the stained glass, I knew I had to see Reese there. Had to watch the light flicker over his face, washing him in different hues.

“Tell me about Jason.” I slid my arm around Reese, cupping the cheek of his ass in my hand.

“What do you want to know?” He licked his lips and I barely restrained the urge to kiss him.

“Tell me what you think is important for me to know.”

Reese scrunched his eyebrows together. “He’s single, but he’s always single. He’s… complicated.”

“Elaborate.”

“He’s aromantic. But he has a couple he scenes with a lot.” Reese glanced around the room. “I don’t see them here tonight.”

“So you think he’s available?”

“He might be.” He rolled his shoulders back and motioned for the stairs. “There’s only one way to find out.”

He led me to the loft and steered me through the space, giving me plenty of time to see the sights as we looked for his friend. Rapture was a place I could see myself coming back to again and again. I felt comfortable here. Completely at ease.

We found Jason was sitting on a couch with his leg bent and his ankle resting on his opposite knee. He had his arms draped over the back of the couch. “I thought I saw you down there.” His gaze slid over to me and his smile widened. “Who’s your friend?”

Reese and I sat next to each other on the couch opposite to him. Jason was a nice-looking man. He was dressed in a pair of ripped black jeans that were just shy of being painted on, and an equally tight black shirt.

“Jason, this is Cory. He’s visiting and wanted to see the sights.”

Jason’s smile turned wolfish. “Did he? What else did he want to see?”

“I want to watch Reese in action.” With every minute that passed, I was keenly aware that it brought me closer to my return flight. Simply put, I didn’t have time to be indirect. But Jason didn’t seem fazed by it.

“Perfect.” He dropped his foot to the floor and leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees. “I’m game if you two are.”

“Barclay and Val aren’t here?” Reese asked, referring—I assumed—to the couple he mentioned earlier.

“Would it matter if they were?” Jason asked, quirking an eyebrow.

“I suppose not.” Reese’s leg shifted and his knee pressed against mine. I dropped my hand down onto his knee and gave it a gentle, but firm squeeze.

“Limits?” I asked the now familiar question.

Jason thought for a moment. “Reese is aware of what I’m into, but for the sake of transparency, no blood. Watersports is fine if previously agreed on. No surprise showers. And condoms for penetration.”

“This is Reese’s show. I’m merely an observer. Would you prefer I be silent?”

Jason shrugged. “It’s up to you.”

“Reese? Limits?”

He looked at me, then forced his gaze away and looked at Jason. I watched how his body stiffened before he spoke. Like he was bracing himself for something.

“I don’t want to have sex.”

My heart slammed against my ribcage so hard I thought everyone might have felt the shockwave ripple through the room. It wasn’t that I was surprised that he didn’t want to fuck Jason. Not everyone was comfortable fucking someone else in front of the man they were already fucking. It was that I was shocked by how much I fucking loved that he didn’t want Jason that way. That he was willing to dominate him, to lead him through a scene and some aftercare, and then send him on his way afterward.

“That’s not an issue for me,” Jason said simply. Then he smiled bright and wide. “I’ll go see Barclay and Val after. Don’t worry about me.”

“Limits, Cory?”

The sound of Reese’s voice snapped me out of me head and brought me back to the moment. My cock throbbed, trapped in my pants. I was already hard to the point of desperation and we hadn’t even gotten started.

“Don’t ignore me. I don’t want you to pretend I’m not here. I want you to know I’m here and do it anyway.”

Reese sucked in a breath and, after a moment, he gave me a short, sharp nod. “Okay.”

“Where did you want to go?” Jason asked. “What did you want to do to me?”

Reese looked at me, then back at Jason. He seemed more settled now that the rules had been established. Not that he was unsettled before, but there had been a shift in his demeanor, a bloom in his confidence.

“I know exactly what I want,” Reese said, his voice clear and bold.

My cock throbbed. So did I.
