A Little Later
FREYA AND TOBIAS WERE sharing a nice evening together, alone in their room. With a pink leatherbound book open on the side table.
Freya was hovering over him with his legs wide. His cock was hard, pressing into her, ready to slide into her.
“Tobias,” she moaned. “Suck on my breast again.” He rose up and pulled her nipple in his mouth.
“I love it when you know what you want.”
“Uh…yes. I want you.” She rocked over his cock. “I want you so much. I’ll never stop wanting you.”
He arched up into her, releasing a trapped mewl from somewhere inside of her.
“I want you to take me from behind again.”
His muscles hardened beneath her and in a flash she was on her stomach. His hands were on her hips, and with a pant, he said, “Put a pillow underneath—”
“Yes!”
When she peeked back over her shoulder she caught his wide grin, and that smoldering look of desire in his eyes.
“You’re so beautiful, Freya. You’re the most amazing woman. I’m so lucky I have you.”
His words were as gentle as his cock was hard.
It notched at her entrance, and when his fingers dug into her hips, she knew what was coming next.
Still, she shouted when he plunged into her.
The pleasure was incomparable. She was so full of him, and so full of love.
He thrust into her as she arched her hips back into him.
“Tobias, I’m going to come,” she shouted the last word. “Uh…yes!”
Their bodies slapped together as he chased her with his own pleasure.
They collapsed in a heap of entangled limbs.
“Good gracious, Tobias. That was incredible.”
He hummed his agreement and nuzzled into her neck. They lay in love and complete contentment for a few minutes, admiring each other’s bodies with soft touches and moans. A few kisses and words of love were exchanged. And then they fell into a companionable silence before Freya perked up.
“Tobias, are you hungry?”
He gave her a knowing smirk, “I could be…”
She swatted his arm. “Not that kind of hungry. But yes, later, that kind of hungry. Do you want something sweet? I’m craving something sweet.”
“I could do sweet. I could do some sweet now and some more sweet later.”
“Mmm…yes!” She clapped her hands and sat up spreading her legs. “Wait!” she shouted, while her hand clamped over his mouth. “I almost forgot. I’ve been meaning to ask you about the list you created.”
He smirked, knowingly. “What list?”
“The one with all the men on it.”
“You mean all your past suitors and pursuers?”
She nodded. “Yes, that one.”
“If I tell you, you have to keep my secret.”
“A wife always keeps her husband’s secrets,” she winked.
“I passed the list of names on to the Wayward Duke’s Alliance,” he twisted the ring on his finger and then flashed it toward her.
Knowing this would likely be the only time he would mention this alliance to her, he continued, “I’ve given them instructions to deal with the men in the most… appropriate manner.”
“You didn’t,” Freya gasped. “But they weren’t all bad.”
He chuckled. “Yes, hence the most appropriate manner differs from name to name.”
“What does that mean?”
“Mostly it means they’ll be watched and prevented from doing any future harm. And for the good ones? It means the alliance will find them a good mate.”
“Why would you do that?”
“So there’s no chance they’ll come after you.” He pulled her close and kissed her softly. “A good woman will do them good. Just like you do for me.”
“You make it easy,” she said, deepening the kiss. The kiss had the potential to take over, so Freya pulled back.
“I should tell you that there was one woman on the list.”
“Which woman?”
He scrubbed his hand down his face. “A beggar-woman I wasn’t too kind to. I had the alliance track her down and give her some coins,” —he cleared his throat— “with diamonds and roses.”
Freya cocked a brow at this confession, already knowing he had a very good reason behind his actions.
“Why didn’t you just give them to her yourself?”
“Well, you see…I don’t think she would have taken them from me. But she’d accept them from someone else.”
“You’re a good man, Tobias.”
“You make it easy to be one.” He kissed her temple.
With him, she was clear headed and full hearted for the first time in her life.
Feeling good about herself and him, feeling full of love and contentment, and feeling excitement for their future together was the way life should feel.
And speaking of excitement for their future together, there was something in the very near future that she still wanted.
Reminding Tobias of their plans for double the sweets, he swiftly lifted himself off the bed. After a quick bellpull—and a sweet treat later—they were eating their second dessert together in bed.
“This is the best trifle I’ve ever had,” Tobias was saying as he spooned another bite into his mouth.
“It is delicious,” Freya wasn’t even looking at him, she was so focused on her dessert. Raspberries. Sponge cake. Whipped cream. It was too delectable for distractions. She swiped her finger into the bowl for the last few crumbs. Finally, she looked up to share her joy with Tobias.
There, sitting on the corner of his mouth was a large dollop of whipped cream. Mmm! She licked her lips and said, “Don’t move.”
“What?” Tobias stilled.
“Just put the bowl down on the side table and…Then. Don’t. Move.”
Never breaking their locked gaze, his eyes widened slightly as he did what she instructed.
Slowly she crawled over his legs and straddled him. Leaning forward she whispered, “I have so many things I want to do to you right now.”
“Really?”
“Starting with this,” she closed the small gap between them and slowly licked the dollop of whipped cream into her mouth, moaning.
This man, her protector, her delicious duke was so much more than she could have ever hoped for.
Crumb, cream, and all.
