Zayn pulled up in front of me and slowly got out of the GranTurismo. He eyed me for a second before he closed the door and headed toward me with his hands in his pants pockets. His movements were careful, yet casual, and I thought he was worried about me and what I’d done.

“I haven’t called the cops,” I said, though I didn’t know why. I should rat on him, but I didn’t, and not just because I hated the police.

His shoulders relaxed and he pulled his hands from his pockets, bringing a box of cigarettes and a red metal lighter out in the open. He popped one in his mouth and lit it up. I watched as he took a puff and blew out a stream of smoke.

“Can we talk?” He glanced around. At the same time, the office door opened and Pandora stepped outside with her arms crossed.

She wasn’t far and I could hear her when she said, “Is everything okay, Keaton?”

“It’s fine. He’s my...boyfriend.” The word came out weird on my tongue, but Pandora only nodded and went back inside.

Zayn’s face warped into something else, though. His expression relaxed and his eyes warmed, like I’d made his entire night. I’d never admitted what he was to me, had I? Hell, we hadn’t talked about it.

“Am I? Your boyfriend?”

I shrugged, embarrassment surging in my gut and heating my face. I glanced away from him as he took another puff of his cigarette. “Maybe. I don’t fucking know, dude.”

He laughed. “Dude again? You know what you should be calling me, boy.”

I sucked in a deep breath, goose bumps tickling my arms at the sound of him calling me his boy again. I glared down at my twitching dick. For fuck’s sake. What the hell was wrong with me?

“Come and sit in the car? I want to explain.” He took a step back, giving me space while he took another drag.

I watched as the smoke billowed from between his beautiful lips as he blew it out, dancing in the air between us.

He dropped the cigarette on the ground and squashed it under his shoe before he went back to the Maserati and slipped behind the wheel.

Taking a deep breath, I slid in the opposite side. Once my door was closed, I looked at him, taking in the way he held the steering wheel tightly. It was dark inside the vehicle, but my body was in tune with his. Every deep breath he took, my hearing honed in on it. On him.

“I didn’t know him, but I hated that he made you feel inferior.

” Zayn’s voice filled the closed space around us, drawing me in with every word that left him.

I needed to tense my muscles to stop myself from leaning toward him.

“I love you, boy, and you’re mine. Anyone who hurt you deserves to die a brutal death.

I chose to end his life so his words no longer haunted you. ”

I inhaled deeply, my lungs inflating until it hurt. My tongue felt heavy in my mouth and I couldn’t move it. Couldn’t speak.

“I don’t regret what I did. I told you before that it’s my job as your Daddy to protect you.” He looked at me, and my heart slammed against my ribs, making me gasp.

“He’s not the first, is he?” I asked, finally able to make my tongue move.

“No.” Sighing, his grip on the wheel eased and he let go, dropping his hands into his lap.

“I’m going to tell you the truth. If you think going to the cops is a good idea, then I can’t stop you.

” He breathed in and out again. “I kill drug dealers. Scum of the earth. I play with them, become their friend. Their buyer.”

“Their Daddy?”

He tensed. “You’re the first who I made my lover.”

I narrowed my eyes on him. “I’m not a drug dealer.”

“I was told you were.” He smiled sadly and it lit up the inside of the car, even through the darkness and with its sorrow.

“Who said that?”

“It’s best if you don’t know. They’re dead.”

“What did you want from me?” I clenched my fingers into fists on my lap while a pain so fierce I felt breathless tore through my heart. I’d never been hurt by someone like this. I fucking hated it. A lot.

“I was waiting for you to fall in love with me. Then, I was going to kill you after you told me who your supplier is.” He reached for me, then stopped halfway between us and dropped his hand on the middle console.

“But I realized after your mom’s death that you weren’t one of them.

Now I want to help you kill the man who gave your mom meth. ”

I clenched my teeth as agony raged in my chest, streaking a white-hot sting through my lungs. “So, this was all a game?”

“No, boy.” This time when he reached for me, he didn’t stop, choosing to cup my cheek with his palm.

I didn’t push him away like I should’ve.

“It was at first, but not after I realized you were innocent. I fell in love with you, Keaton. Not Moose. Keaton. My boy.” He glanced toward the room Ginny was sleeping in.

“And Ginny, too. She’s a sweet little girl and I care about her. ”

I seized his chin and turned his face toward me. I wanted his eyes and attention on me. “Only drug dealers?” The tips of my fingers tingled and I didn’t want to think about the weird excitement that coursed through my veins at the thought of him killing those bad people.

“Yes. Roger was a divergence.”

I frowned.

“He was different,” he said, as though he knew I needed him to change up the words.

“And I only killed him because he made my boy feel hurt. You’re not stupid, Keaton.

You’re street smart. You might not be a rocket scientist, but you’re not dumb.

And I won’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

They’ll die if they treat you like shit. ”

My dick jerked and hardened, but I ignored it and the desire that flooded my insides. “Can you....” I couldn’t believe what I was thinking. “Can we kill the man who gave my mother meth, Daddy? Goldie.”

I really was fucked up. There would be no cops. They’d never help with the guy who killed my mom, but Zayn would. My Daddy would help me.

His smirk made my dick twitch harder. “If that’s what you want. We can do it together, boy.”

I swallowed around an excitement that lodged in my throat. My heart fluttered and my skin buzzed. “I want him to die painfully.”

He tilted his head, and I lunged forward to slam my mouth against his in a bruising kiss. He laid a hand on my hip and drew me closer, and I couldn’t help but feel like a mouse that had fallen into a snake’s trap. But I was more than some rodent. Ginny was another story.

I flew backward, breaking contact, and glared. “We must always keep my sister safe. I mean it, Daddy. Any guns you have need to go somewhere else. I don’t fucking care where. And no—” I waved my hand. “—serial killer shit around her. She stays away from that side. Cool?”

He grinned. “Deal, boy.” He raised his eyebrows.

“Now, can we have makeup sex? How about you ride my cock?” As if to make a point, he hit the lever that dropped the back of his seat until he was nearly lying down.

He patted his hard dick that tented his pants.

“Right here. Right now. Come on, boy, hop on.”

Oh fuck. My dick jerked painfully, and I flinched. I glanced toward the door to our room before I nodded. I wasn’t sure how I was supposed to fuck myself on Zayn in this small interior, but I wanted this, so I’d give it my best shot.

“Yes, Daddy.”
