All four Harrington brothers sit at my dining room table, and it’s disconcerting as hell. Roman, Sterling, and Chase areidentical triplets, but they look like a carbon copy of Grant, the oldest.

I don’t even know who I’m talking to.

“Just the headquarters, and only for a week. Give your employees a paid vacation while we sort this out.” I think it’s Sterling talking, but who the hell knows.

“There’s a shit ton to unpack here.” Okay, this guy is Roman. I appreciate his direct approach and no-bullshit attitude. “You think the leak is coming from Quinn or Kristen, but we don’t know which one because neither has taken the recent bait you’ve given them. I’m not convinced that the packages to Clover are related beyond DeVane doxing her private information, so that needs to be handled separately.”

“I don’t care if he sent them himself, he put out her private information, knowing this would happen. It is his fault,” I snarl.

“That’s all true, but we’ll talk more about Clover and the packages in a moment,” Grant says. I only know it’s him because he has a few more lines around his eyes. “There are some…complications we’ll need to discuss first.”

“Wait. Packages? As in plural?” I ask, glancing toward the stairs, thankful that Savvy hasn’t come down yet.

The Harringtons speak in a silent conversation before Grant finally nods. “She received another one late last night at the inn. Whoever delivered it knew where the cameras were and evaded all of them.”

“Fucking hell. DeVane has been loitering around town, and he could have scoped out the cameras when he tried to check into the inn.”

“It’s possible, but let’s stick to Omni-Reyes first,” Roman barks. I appreciate that he appears to have one tone and it’s similar to my own. “We’ll have a forensic team scan the entire building while your employees are out. If there’s a connection between either woman and Riley DeVane, we’ll find it. That’sthe easy part. What we’re concerned about is the escalation of DeVane’s behavior with Savannah.”

“Me too,” I admit. It tastes bitter leaving my mouth, but I’m not too prideful to ask for help, not when it comes to Savvy.

“We’ll have a team on her at all times,” one of the triplets says. “We’ll also have a team on Clover, Elle, and Madison. If he can’t get to Savvy, they’d be his next target.”

“We’re also working with the bounty hunters to bring him in before anything else happens,” Sterling—or maybe it’s Chase—says. They should wear name tags.

“Good. Okay.” It sounds as though they’re taking all the precautions I’d ask for. “Savvy insists on attending the fair.” I study Roman’s face as his mouth falls into a grim line. At least he thinks it’s a terrible idea too. “She’ll fight us if we don’t make it happen, and she’s stubborn enough to go with or without us.”

“He’ll be expecting it though,” Roman says.

“Then we need to be three steps ahead of him because I can’t convince her to hide out. She’s…tenacious.” A smile plays on my lips even though there’s nothing funny about this conversation.

Roman chuckles. He’s met Savvy, and he undoubtedly remembers how relentless she can be when she has her mind set on something.

“We’ll get a team on the fairgrounds within the hour,” Grant says.

Noise on the staircase draws our attention, and I watch as Savvy’s legs come into view. Step by step, she appears, but when I see her eyes, I’m out of my chair so fast it scatters to the ground.

Wood scraping the floor tells me the Harrington brothers have risen as well, but they give me space to approach Savvy.

“What happened?” I ask the moment I reach her. My hands scan her body for injuries while I study her face.

She shakes her head, looking so damn lost, I want to murder someone.

“Savvy, what is it? What happened?” I ask again.

“A—Austin called.” Austin. Austin, her shithead brother.

“Okay.” I hold her hand and lead her to the sofa, then gently push her to a seating position while I crouch in front of her. “What did he say?”

“He said…” The floorboards creak, and she looks to the left, where the four copies of the same man stand in a militant line.

I hook her chin with my finger and drag her attention back to me while simultaneously shooing the Harringtons toward the door.

“We’ll wait for you at Omni-Reyes,” Grant says. “We need to discuss Clover’s team as soon as possible. There are?—”

“I’ll call you,” I say, cutting him off. The last thing I need is to pile one more worry onto Savvy’s shoulders.

“Clover’s team?”
