With each flick of his tendrils and spurt of seed, the tension in Urkot eased, until finally he relaxed his jaw. His tongue swept over her skin, gently licking the marks he’d left. One of his hands, which happened to be atop Callie’s breasts, flexed, and his thumb lovingly stroked her nipple.

“Ah, my suncrest,” he rumbled, nuzzling her neck and hair. “I wish to remain here, buried inside you. One with you. Forever.”

Callie reached up and caressed his jaw as she turned her face toward him, brushing her lips across his hard mouth. “Me too.”

They reveled in each other as Urkot descended from his peak, the spasms in his cock gradually growing weaker and more infrequent, the movements of those tendrils becoming lighter and more leisurely.

When his knot finally released her, he lifted her from his shaft and cradled her against his chest as he strode back to the steaming pool.

She didn’t even care that his cum was leaking from her.

He stepped into the water and lay back, settling Callie astride atop him, and wrapped his lower arm around her securely.

Smiling, Callie folded her arms atop his chest, rested her chin upon them, and looked up at him.

His hearts pounded beneath her, strong and fast. Her body ached deliciously, her pussy still quivering in the aftermath of their lovemaking.

His cock hadn’t retreated into his slit, but remained erect, pressed against her backside.

Urkot purred as he cupped handfuls of hot water and poured them over her. She closed her eyes with a sigh, relishing both the heat of the water and that of the vrix holding her. There was a sting on her ass cheek from his spanking, but all she could think was worth it.

She felt alive. She felt loved.

During moments like this, she could forget that their lives were in danger, and she hoped she and Urkot would share many more such moments once they found their home.

Because they would get out of here. They had to. Callie would accept no other outcome. She wanted to live, and she wanted to spend her life with Urkot.

Through all this hardship, through all her fear, Urkot had been her rock. She’d never had a place that truly felt like home, but she had found it in him. He was her safety, her security, her solid foundation. With him, she was exactly where she belonged.

He continued pouring water onto her while his lower hand smoothed over her back, ass, and leg. His touch was gentle and soothing, yet it hinted at the consuming arousal he could flood her with were he to use just a little more pressure or graze her even slightly with his claws.

Urkot’s chest swelled with a slow, deep breath. “Callie…”

The weight with which he’d said her name, the rawness that had crept into his voice, had her opening her eyes to meet his gaze.

“I am not a vrix of pretty words. I am no weaver, and cannot gift you silk dresses, and I am not enough of a hunter to bring you the most good meat. I am a delver. A shaper. I cannot give fine things to you, but I can provide for you. I can shield you. And that is what I want… You.

“I have lived so long understone, in the dark. You are my sun. You are my light, you are the warmth on my hide. You are my heartsthread. Even if there are things I cannot give you, I long to spend my life giving you everything I can. Giving you my hearts, my soul…my love.”

Tears gathered in Callie’s eyes, and her chest constricted with the emotion overflowing within her heart. It was almost hard to breathe. Her heart pounded, and her belly fluttered.

It didn’t matter how softly he had spoken, his words had been a claim, as real and solid as the stone around them.

He loved her. Urkot loved her.

She laughed softly as she scooted up his chest and cradled his jaw between her palms. “Not a vrix of pretty words, my ass.”

Callie pressed her mouth firmly to his.

Urkot banded his arms around her, holding her tight.

When Callie lifted her head, all eight of his glowing eyes, so bright and blue, met hers. They were unwavering as they held her gaze. He was looking at her as though she were his whole world, as though she was all that existed.

She smiled and brushed her thumbs along his jaw. “I thought it was already established that I’m yours.”

“You are.” He gently tucked her damp curls behind her ear with his claws. “But…”

Callie’s brow furrowed. “But?”

His mandibles drooped. “To other vrix, I am different. My shape, my arms. They look upon me, and they…they do not want. They see something less, something unworthy, something not…pretty. Many times, they have made me feel unwanted. Like I do not belong. Like I am not enough.”

“Oh, Urkot,” she whispered, her heart hurting for him. She pressed her forehead to his headcrest as she continued stroking his jaw. “You are not unworthy, and you sure as hell aren’t lesser.”

Callie ran a hand down his neck to his shoulder.

“These arms are strong. They have carried burdens that would’ve crushed anyone else, and they have provided shelter in times of need.

” She moved her hand onto his, which rested upon her thigh.

“These hands have shaped stone, creating beautiful works of art, and have fought fiercely to protect the people you love.”

She raised her head and slipped her hand down to the large, rough scar on his left side. “This scar is proof of your willingness to sacrifice for others. It is proof of your strength and your tenacity. You fought, and you survived.”

He shuddered, and a low buzz sounded in his chest.

“You are more than enough, Urkot. You have always been and always will be. And you are wanted.” With a soft smile, Callie trailed her fingers lightly over the side of his face. “I also find you very pretty.”

His mandibles ticked upward, but he huffed. “Just pretty? Am I not sexy?”

Callie chuckled. “You are. Very sexy.” She ran her hands over his shoulders and chest as she sat up on him. “Your arms, your body, your cock…”

Lifting her ass, she reached between her thighs to gasp his extruded shaft.

Urkot’s breath hitched, and his hands caught her hips, fingers and claws digging into her skin.

She wiggled herself down his body until she was able to notch the pronged tip of his shaft against her entrance.

Slowly, she sank down atop him, moaning as his cock pushed deep inside her. Urkot hissed, his body tensing.

“You are also mine, Urkot.” She seated herself until she reached his knot, which spread her wider, and settled her palms over his hands. Her eyes remained locked with his. “And I’m not letting you go, my luveen .”

A shiver wracked him, moving through her, and he released a shaky breath. “Callie…”

His lower hand squeezed her thigh as his grip on her hips tightened. He lifted her slowly, and Callie’s lashes fluttered at the slow drag of his cock inside her, the ridges of its wide head sending shocks of pleasure through her already sensitive channel.

“I will never let you go,” Urkot growled, yanking her down and forcing his knot deep into her.

Callie threw her head back with a cry and surrendered herself to him.
