"That's it. Take all of me," he says in between gasps of air, moving back and forth, giving me everything he has as he reaches the edge.
I feel him tense up and growl with one final thrust that reverberates through my body, almost lifting me off the bed.
I can feel his cock twitching as he releases his warm seed deep inside me. A few more gentle thrusts follow as he empties himself completely within me. After a few moments, he slowly pulls out. The fullness gives way to abandonment as he collapses onto the bed next to me.
I lay there, my legs still spread, shaking, unable to move from what I've just experienced.
I breathe in and out hard, and my sweaty hair moves in clumps up and down. We lay there, naked and intertwined, trying to catch our breath and calm our racing hearts.
After a few moments, I wipe the matted hair out of my face and turn to my side to face him.
He's laying on his back, his muscular chest going up and down rapidly. I crawl over to him, and he wraps an arm around me. I lay my head on his chest, feeling the steady rise and fall as his breathing begins to slow.
"Anna," Gabriel murmurs. "My Anna."
I lift my head to meet his gaze, seeing a mix of possessiveness and tenderness in his eyes that my soul has come to need. "I like when you say my real name," I admit softly.
While it didn't destroy my feelings when he called me Sofia during our intimate moments, it didn't hit me the same way my own name does.
"Say it again," I demand.
"Anna," Gabriel says, his voice low as his arm tightens around me.
We lay in comfortable silence for a while, both lost in our own thoughts. I don't know why, but it finally hits me that he left the door open for light.
"Oh my god, Gabriel, the door's open. Lydia probably heard us," I say, popping my head up.
He laughs. "Don't worry, I sent her home."
I relax, and he guides me back down to rest on his chest.
A few more minutes later, and my mind starts to mingle with reality.
How the fuck am I going to just leave the FBI?
I sigh out of frustration. One obstacle after another.
"What was the sigh for?" Gabriel asks, jerking his neck to look at me.
"I don't... It's just... the FBI, how am I going to just walk away?"
Gabriel tilts my chin up, his eyes meeting mine. "You think I wouldn't have thought of that? I wouldn't demand that you leave without having a plan, something to give them in exchange for your freedom."
"Wait. You have a plan? What is it?" I say with excitement and hesitation.
He smiles and leans in to kiss me.
"Get some sleep, Bella. Tomorrow, I'll tell you everything."
"But—" I start to protest.
Gabriel silences me with another kiss, deeper this time. "Trust me, Anna. By this time tomorrow, your life will never be the same."
As I settle into his arms, my mind whirls with possibilities. What could Gabriel's plan possibly be? And why do I have the feeling that "never be the same" might be an understatement?
ANNA - 40
As I wake up, I feel my body deliciously sore from the night's passionate activities. Gabriel's arm is draped over my waist, holding me. His breath is warm against the nape of my neck.
