Hello. My name is Ella.

And this… this is the story of how I met a monster.

Now, I know how that sounds. But I promise, it’s not what you think.

I didn’t ask to come here.

But once I arrived, leaving wasn’t really an option.

Not that he tried to stop me. He barely even looked at me.

At first.

He kept to the shadows.

Spoke like the words cost him something.

Watched me like I might break. Or worse, breakhim.

They call him Beast.

But there’s something else behind those eyes. Somethingaching.

I probably should have been afraid.

But the truth?

I've never felt more at home.

I never ran in fear of the Beast.

I was runningfromsomething else entirely.

And maybe… maybe that’s what he saw in me. A reflection.

Because Thorne may look like a monster, but he wasn’t the monster I was afraid of.
