I wake up to my mate sliding down my shaft. I growl, reaching for her before my eyes open.

“You don’t have any Alpha business to attend to?”

I shrug. “I need to do a patrol and check in with the other Alphas, but I doubt there’s any pressing business.”

I pause, taking a deep breath. “We should talk about something.”

She frowns. “What’s that?”

“I want you to move in with me.”

Her eyes widen. “Really?”

“Of course. You’re my mate. I don’t want to spend one minute away from you. I want you to make our house a home. I want to wake up next to you each morning and fall asleep with you in my arms each night.”

“All right,” she says softly. “I’ll have to break my lease, but I want that, too.”

I lean forward and kiss her. “Good,” I whisper against her lips.

My wolf curls up inside me, happy that our mate will be with us all the time.

“I love you, Adeline,” I tell her softly.

She blinks as her eyes fill with tears.

“I do. I mean it. You’re my everything. I love you, mate.”

“I love you, too,” she whispers. “So much. It seems so fast, but it feels right. I know this is meant to be. This is where I’m supposed to be. With you.”

“Damn right,” I state.

Adeline laughs as I steal one more kiss and climb out of bed. I offer her my hand as she climbs out after me.

“Seems like we have a busy day. I can grab some packing boxes from town.”

“I have some leftover here from when I moved in,” she says. “I’ll need some tape and packing materials.”

“Okay, I’ll grab those. Why don’t you let me deliver the desserts, and I’ll stop at the store to get the packing materials.”

“Are you sure?”

“Positive. We’ll get you packed up here, and I’ll show you around my pack later today. We can grab lunch or dinner, too.”

“Sounds perfect.”

I grin, wrapping my arms around Adeline’s waist and holding her against me. “Love you, mate,” I whisper against her lips.

She smiles. “Love you, too.”

Adeline wraps her arms around my neck, and my cock hardens between us. When she rubs against me, I know we won’t be going anywhere but back to bed for a little while.
