“SO… I HAVE A question,” I said to Drew as I threw the last lot of my musty smelling and still somewhat damp clothes into the washing machine while he finished pulling the load of clothes that had been in the dryer into the basket to take back upstairs. It had truly been a long day, and I was glad that we were close to being done with it all.
Everything in my room had either been soaked through or completely ruined. Marshall assured me that everything that had to be replaced would be, courtesy of Lucas’s mega-rich daddy, but that had still left a ton of things that needed to be put through the washer and dryer.
