Vikrant had no idea that Jhankar could be there, so he was shocked. He closes the door and comes inside because he doesn’t want Jhankar’s scream to reach Sharda. He doesn’t want Sharda to say anything to him again. He quickly moves toward her, but the next moment, Jhankar collapses to the floor.

“Jhankar…”

Vikrant quickly looks at her, but she’s not responding.

He starts rubbing her cheeks and notices the blood still on his hands.

Looking at himself, he immediately realizes his mistake.

Without hesitation, he leaves Jhankar in that state, rushes into the washroom, removes his clothes, and stands under the shower.

His entire focus remains on the room, though it’s difficult for him to keep an eye on it.

He wants to remove every trace of blood from his body.

After scrubbing for five minutes, when he feels he’s completely clean, he ties his towel around his torso and returns to Jhankar.

She still hasn’t regained consciousness and remains lying on the floor.

He immediately picks her up and lays her on the bed, gently patting her cheeks to revive her.

“Jhankar…”

Quickly, he sprinkles water on her face, causing Jhankar to slowly open her eyes. Seeing Vikrant leaning over her, she immediately pushes him back and moves away.

“Blood…”

Vikrant doesn’t respond and, standing in front of her, says:

“If you’re facing any problem, tell me, I’ll call the doctor for you.”

Jhankar looks at him with surprise, as if none of this matters to him.

Her eyes are filled with questions, but Vikrant is unwilling to answer any of them.

Looking into his eyes, it’s clear that he’s addicted to such violence.

When she gets no reply, he goes to change into fresh clothes.

Jhankar covers her mouth with both hands, trying to stifle her tears.

She can’t understand anything anymore, but now she’s growing more concerned about her parents and brother.

Without delay, she runs toward the door, but the next moment, she’s pinned against the wall with a jerk, Vikrant stands in front of her.

“I’m not creating any problems for your family, so my mother should not face any trouble because of you. That’s all I know. I understand that you’re scared, but there’s no need to go anywhere. Just relax… I am Mafia, so this is normal in our families.”

Jhankar is so terrified by the situation that she’s unable to speak.

She just stares at him with frightened eyes.

Vikrant usually enjoys seeing fear in others’ eyes, but today, seeing that fear in hers gives him a strange feeling.

He would rather not look into her eyes. The girl he once wanted to scare is now actually terrified, and he doesn’t like it.

He locks the room while looking into her eyes and leaves.

Jhankar watches him go and softly whispers to herself:

“I have to leave as soon as possible.”

Jhankar had an interview today, and she tells Sharda about it. Her interview went very well, but she is not very excited because she has been giving interviews continuously and not getting any results. Sharda, seeing her like this, encourages her.

“Don’t worry too much; everything will be fine. And by the way, you didn’t go to see your father today, he’s getting discharged.”

Jhankar starts looking at Sharda because she had definitely gone to meet her father with Vikrant in the morning.

But because of Vikrant, she could neither talk to him much nor tell him anything.

Vikrant was present there the entire time.

Later, she went for the interview, and after that, Vikrant’s bodyguard dropped her at the hospital.

But Vikrant called her in the evening and clearly told her that she would have to sit with Sharda for some time today because he would be coming very late.

In such a situation, he didn’t want Sharda to feel any tension about him, which is why she came home.

“I had gone, but today Mummy is staying with Papa, and I was tired, so I came early.”

“If you are tired, then you should go and rest. What are you doing here? Go and rest. Anyway, both of you are very worried about your father, so in such a situation, you feel even more tired. You should rest.”

“No, I am not so tired that I can’t sit and talk to you.”

Sharda smiles lightly after listening to her, because Jhankar often spends time with her, and she likes this very much.

In the meantime, Jhankar wants to tell her a little about Vikrant, but she is not getting a chance to do so.

After some time, Vikrant comes there, and upon realizing his presence, Jhankar doesn’t look at him at all and says to Sharda:

“Talk with him; now I will take some rest.”

Sharda smiles, and Jhankar starts leaving from there without looking at Vikrant, but Vikrant’s eyes are only on Jhankar. She comes to her room and checks her mobile first. On seeing it, a smile appears on her face.

“I have got a job at V International, and I have to join from tomorrow…”

Jhankar immediately stands up and starts going back to Sharda, but remembering that Vikrant is there, she right away sits back down on the sofa, his blood-soaked appearance haunting her.

“I should neither have too much affection for these people nor should I think too much about what they do and why they do it. I just have to think about my family and protect them from all these things. I have got a job, and now I just have to work hard, do everything for my parents, and think only about them. Apart from this, I don’t have to do anything else…

As soon as Aunty’s health improves, I will have to talk about divorce as soon as possible and take the first step to get out of here. ”

Jhankar looks at the mail again and smiles lightly.

She immediately calls her mother and shares her happiness about getting a job.

She soon realizes that Vikrant is probably coming to his room, so she lies down on the sofa, covers herself with a duvet, and hides her face toward the sofa because she would rather not face him.

The scene that she witnessed yesterday was truly frightening.

Vikrant enters the room, and his eyes first go to the sofa where Jhankar is lying.

He stands there for a moment and looks at her but soon goes to change his clothes because it’s very late, and he does not like being late at all.

As soon as he comes back to the room, he sees Jhankar in the same position, the way he has been observing her since yesterday.

Looking at her, he lies down on his bed, switches off the light, and tries to sleep.

But sleep is far from his eyes, and again and again, his entire attention goes toward Jhankar, because she has been avoiding him like a disease since yesterday.

He knows what the reason is, but since yesterday, a strange restlessness has been bothering him that he cannot avoid at all.

He turns to one side, his entire attention still on Jhankar, and he just keeps looking at her continuously because he doesn’t know what else he should do at this time.
