Aryanna

F uck! That sex was something. I lost myself in climaxes so big I could hardly breathe as they pulled me under. It was like he knew what I needed and wanted before I had to say it. I didn’t have to direct him, and he certainly didn’t want any of my help.

“What are you thinking about?” Dante asks, tangled in the covers next to me.

I can’t tell him. I’m a little sad that this is only going to be a one-time thing.

Once he finds out the truth, he’ll never want to see me again.

I don’t think I’ve ever had this level of chemistry with someone, but it’s not enough for me to give up what I want—what I’ve been planning since I left Iran as a child.

“How do you know where to go when you buy your gemstones?” I ask him.

“There’s a guy—Wheeler. Knows everyone worth knowing. If there’s a private showing in some tucked-away corner of the world, he’s there—and I’m usually right behind him. I work with the toughest sellers, the ones who don’t open their vaults for just anyone.”

“How often will you go on these buying trips?” My finger circles his nipple.

“There are two things to consider,” he tells me, his breath catching slightly.

“You can go one week and they have everything you want and you can’t buy enough.

Then the next time you go, they don’t have anything.

Wheeler knows if there’s a party in Rio or a backroom deal in Bangkok, he’s there — and I’m not far behind.

As we expand, I’ll hire a few buyers, and they can take care of some of what we want, but I’ll always work with the more difficult sellers. ”

“That’s a lot of travel,” I murmur. “And given your height, you’ll want to travel first class.”

He laughs. “Yes, planes are not made for anyone over five feet. I also have to be aware of the political climates where I’m going. I don’t want to be stuck in Colombia while there’s a military coup.”

That’s something I hadn’t considered. “We’ll have our own signature touches, but I’m not in the business of forging metals. That’s someone else’s game.”

“We’ll offer standard settings. We’re not going to design our own. I don’t want to forge metals. That’s a route we’re not interested in taking.”

“Are you planning on selling raw, uncut gems or only cut stones?”

“Raw stones are for miners. I deal in beauty—the kind that makes you forget the price tag. Sure, I can spot a perfect cut, but I let the best in the world make it happen.”

“That makes total sense. Sounds like you and your brothers have an amazing business plan.”

“It’s something we’ve worked on for a long time,” he says with a satisfied nod. “It’s taken us a while to get here.”

He runs his thumb down my arm, and I can feel him getting excited.

“Is it having a naked woman lying with you or talking business that’s turning you on?” I ask.

He shifts his weight, and his hard cock taps my stomach. “I think it’s a little of both.”

After the next round, he pulls me in close. We fall asleep wrapped in one another’s arms, and I’m surprisingly comfortable. But it won’t last. It never does.

My phone rings, waking us both. Daylight fills the room.

I groan as I answer it. “Hello?”

“Good morning,” Alicia singsongs.

I prop myself up on my elbow looking over at Dante, who’s suddenly awake and playing with my nipple. It’s eight o’clock, and I have two hours until I meet Alicia and the other bridesmaids for brunch. Several of us will enjoy the hotel spa this afternoon, and we’ll get together for dinner tonight.

“Did I wake you?” Alicia asks.

“Yes, but only because that was one of the best weddings I’ve ever attended and I was exhausted.”

“I saw you hitting it off with Dante last night. His eyes were locked on you. Did you go back to his room?”

At least I can answer honestly. “No. I went back to my room.”

Dante smiles.

“You two have so much in common,” she offers, probably hoping I’ll spill the beans.

I might, if he wasn’t here with me and playing my body like a fine violin.

Dante rolls me on my back and his fingers explore, pushing and pivoting in and out of my center.

“He was a nice guy.”

Dante stops and raises his brow at me. I signal that he needs to keep going.

“He was quite popular with the bridesmaids,” I tell her. “I’m sure he found somebody to go home with last night.”

“He can be a bit of a manwhore, but with looks like that, if I wasn’t married I’d probably climb him like a tree,” Alicia says.

I’m trying not to be distracted by what Dante is doing, but I can feel my pinnacle quickly approaching. I need to get off the phone.

“Did you have fun last night at your own wedding?” I ask her, trying to keep my voice even.

“I had a blast. And then, of course, Tom and I had the honeymoon suite. We had champagne and strawberries, and when we arrived they’d drawn a bath with floating rose petals and bubbles and lots of candles.

My body is still humming from our first night as husband and wife.

I didn’t get any sleep. I figure I can do that on the plane tomorrow. ”

“What was your favorite part of yesterday?” I ask. If I can’t get off the phone, I guess I should keep her talking so I can concentrate on what Dante is doing to me.

Dante takes my breast into his mouth and suckles, bites, and pulls. I try to control my breathing as he works all of my senses.

“I think it was when I walked down the aisle and looked at Tom. He was just so… I can’t explain the emotions on his face—excitement, horny, nervous, and so much more all at the same time.”

“He was so excited to see you, and you were such a beautiful bride.” I sigh.

“Thank you. I’m glad you were here. I would have freaked out if you hadn’t made it.”

“I was close to walking over to the rental car counter in Dallas and driving all night if I had to. I wasn’t going to miss your day. I’m just sorry I had to miss the connection.”

“I should have paid for your flight. I know how tight things are in San Francisco.”

“I’m not a charity case.”

“I know. And I love that about you. But I also know the dress I chose was a little over the top.”

“Alicia, this was your day. You deserve to have exactly what you want, and I hope that’s what you got.”

He keeps getting me almost there and then changes what he’s doing and it’s killing me.

“It’s exactly what I got. And my mother and stepmother didn’t even kill each other. There were lots of fireworks, though. We’ll talk about that later today. Neither of them are going to the spa, but both have said they’ll be dropping by brunch, which guarantees they’ll show up at the same time.”

Dante is growing more persistent. If I don’t hang up, Alicia is going to know he spent the night with me.

And while I love my best friend in the whole world, just because she found the man for her and loves being in love doesn’t mean that’s going to happen for all of us.

Frankly, I don’t want to go there with her right now.

“Well, I guess if I’m going to get up and meet you, I need to get a move on.” I hiss in a breath, moving my mouth away from the phone. “Are we still meeting downstairs at the front desk at ten?”

“That’s the plan,” she confirms. “The guys are going to meet and play golf today.”

“And you fly out tomorrow. Are you ready?”

“I can’t wait.” She giggles. “Okay, I’ve got to go.”

As I finally disconnect the call, Dante props himself up on his knees and rolls on the last condom. He’s enormous, and I’m going to be feeling this for many days, but it was worth it.

When he sinks into me, I sigh. We fit very well together.
