"Do you want innocent?" I wondered, rhythm faltering.
"Fuck no,” he answered without hesitation. “I wantyou.Who wouldn’t want somebody who rides dick like a fucking porn star? Don’t even care that-that you-you-uh…"
"What?"
"Totally fucking ruin me,” Chase said. “You wreck me and I don’t even care."
"Ruin you?” My heart stuttered and I clenched around him. “Is that what I’m doing?"
"Yeah. Can’t you tell? God, I’m trying to hold on here, but I’ve been ready to blow since you dropped down on my cock like you were fucking made for it."
"C-Chase," I moaned.
“Okay, I have to touch you,” Chase said, hand wrapping around my dick. “But one day we really need to find out if you can come on just my cock.”
“Fuck.”
"Yeah.” Chase smirked. “You got moves, but I’ve got the mouth."
"It’s-it’s a good mouth."
"You should see what else it can do." He freaking winked and that was it.
Pushing down with a forceful motion, I stayed there clenching around him, rocking fluidly as he nailed the perfect spot and I came so hard I worried about somehow suffering permanent brain damage.

“I need to go into the office,” he said. “There’s an emergency.”

Rushing into the office, I had no time to shower. And Merritt was the one briefing me. My concerns about what he’d smell ended as he filled me in on the situation.
“Gone?” I asked.
"Gone," he confirmed. Merritt only had on one lamp at his desk, making the dark circles under his eyes more pronounced. “Hodge is gone.”
Hodge was in the wind. Gone. M.I.A. Nobody had seen him since the altercation with me.
"Aren’t you gonna yell?" I asked Merritt.
"About what?” He sounded tired. “You needlessly antagonizing the focus of an extremely sensitive investigation? Or nearly coming to blows with him in a public place? Or why you keep losing your cool over a guy?"
All great questions. It was so quiet in his office.
Merritt usually tried to stick to an ‘I’m not angry, I’m just disappointed’ routine when lecturing me, but his disappointment was loud and explosive disappointment. This was the calm before the storm.
"You overreacted,” Merritt continued. “He wouldn’t have even been a problem in a few minutes. We had him come in on a ruse, we were gonna bust him."
"Were?" I echoed.
Here was the other shoe dropping. The reason I got called in during the middle of the night. Part of me still hoped he’d say everything went swell, that it would be alrig—
