Eliza’s eyes widened. “Holy fuck,” she muttered.
“What?”
“Nothing.” But she said it way too fast.
“Eliza,what?”
“He’s…” She blew out a breath and glanced around to make sure they were alone. “Good news, bad news. He’s an honorable guy, a good guy, and doesn’t grope. If she played with Landry, I can almost guarantee you with my life he didn’t do anything inappropriate with her.”
“Is that the good or the bad news?”
“The good.”
“What’s the bad?”
“He makes me look like a wuss as a Top. On a scale of one to Jeffrey Dahmer in terms of sadists, he’s not Dexter, but he’s right up there just under sociopaths. If she can play to his level and want to go back for more? You are going to want to come to peace with other people topping her, at least for now, for the sake of your own sanity.”
Then she’d left the kitchen, leaving him with his thoughts pinballing inside his skull.

Skye hadn’t wanted to get into a “discussion” with her parents, so she told her them not to expect her home that night, but not that she’d be gone all weekend. That she’d text them late Saturday morning with an ETA if she didn’t come home by midnight.
Thankfully, her mom kept her dad’s playful teasing reined in.
If all went well tonight, she’d tell them in text tomorrow not to expect her home until Sunday night.
When they reached Axel’s place, she’d swear he fumbled his keys a little while trying to get the door unlocked.
He went first to turn on lights and she stopped in the foyer to look around while awaiting his return.
Holy cow…he is awaybetter housekeeper than I am.
Once she got her own place, she’d definitely have to step up her game.
Of course that’d be a lot easier to do now without picking up after El Cheatohead.
She could have a perfectly clean room, follow Kelly into it one minute later, and find it looking like a hurricane passed through while she’d blinked.
He had a gift for wrecking rooms and hearts.
A multi-talented kind of guy.
Focus. You’re not with him anymore. Axel should have all your attention tonight.
She walked over to the couch inside the living room and set her backpack down on it. She’d taken a “just in case” approach and had brought everything from a travel toothbrush to lube to condoms to spare panties, in addition to a change of clothes.
No commando walk of shame for her, no siree. If she was going to go home sans the panties she’d had on her ass when she left, it was only because she had donned a fresh pair.
Although she hoped she wouldn’t be going home until sometime Sunday.
And she doubly hoped clothes would mostly be unnecessary until then.
About the only thing she didn’t have was something to calm her damn nerves.
He put his keys and wallet and the loose change from his pocket on the end of the kitchen counter before he seemed to remember there was a bigger purpose here and returned to the living room.
“Did you want something to drink or anything?”
