"You two are insatiable," Scout teases once we've both pulled back, wiping the remaining cum from our lips with the backs of our hands. "But damn if that wasn't hot."
Xavier stands first, climbs out of the tub and slings a towel low on his hips. “We should clean up. Come inside.”
Scout groans but lets us help him out of the tub. The cool air hits and the three of us shiver, laughter low and breath fogging.
Xavier wraps a towel around Scout, already curling a finger under his chin to tilt his face up.
“You need a bath,” Xavier murmurs, grabbing his hand and pulling him toward the door.
Scout lets him.
No sass. No teasing. Just obedience. It shouldn’t turn me on as much as it does, but watching them disappear inside together like that, something in me twists.
I don’t follow.
Not because I’m not invited, but because Idon’t needto be.
I had my moment with Scout. And more than that... I want Xavier to have this.
He doesn’tsaywhat he wants—not out loud—but I see it. In the way his gaze lingers on Scout’s mouth a second too long. In the way his jaw tightens. And in the way he touches—gentle, hesitant—almost as if he’s afraid this might be the only chance he gets.
I gather up the discarded wine glasses and half-full bottle that’s still sweating on the edge of the tub. Grab the twisted mess of our swim trunks from where we tossed them. Scout’s turquoise pair is nearly glowing in the moonlight. Mine are still dripping, the hot pink darker now, heavy with water and sin.
The deck is quiet now. Steam still curls from the water. I reach for the cover and pull it closed, the hiss of bubbling jets disappearing beneath the seal. Like I’m locking the moment away. I flick off the string lights around the railing, one click at a time, until only the faint porch light remains.
And then I head inside, alone.
The condo’s quiet, shadows stretching long across the floor. I hear the water running down the hall—Xavier must’ve started the bath. The thought makes something throb behind my ribs. Not in jealousy. Not even in want.
Just...longing.
I slip into the other bathroom and step into the shower. The water’s hot. Too hot. But I let it burn.

Scout
Steam curlsfrom the tub as it fills. The sound of the water is the only thing between us for a moment. I stand there, wet towel still clinging to my hips, skin flushed, heartbeat skipping in my chest.
“You could’ve let Kendrix join,” I say lightly, breaking the silence. “You know… if this is round two.”
Xavier doesn’t answer right away. Just opens the cabinet and pulls out a clean washcloth.
“This isn’t round two,” he says. His voice is low—rough with something that sounds too close to want and too far from casual. “This ismine.”
That word—mine—hits somewhere deeper than I expect.
He turns to face me, eyes sweeping down my body like he’s already unwrapping me.
“Take it off.”
I do—no hesitation.
The towel hits the floor with a soft thud, and Xavier’s gaze darkens as he watches me step toward the bath.
The tub is almost full now, steam rising in thick clouds around the edge. The scent of something clean—eucalyptus maybe—floats in the air, like he dropped in soap or oil without me noticing.
“Get in.”
