Page 23 of Rushing Her: Seattle, Westerners (Gridiron Warriors #2)

R eclining back in my chair with the sunshade umbrella protecting my skin, I watch my family run around the field.
My sister sits next to me, and both of us just giggle as we keep an eye on our kids.
My boys are ten years old today, and all three of them want to be just like their dad, a football player.
I hope they don’t, but I’ll support them in whatever they choose to do.
I look over to find my daughter, Jayden, shouting from the sidelines beside her father, who is coaching.
I swear my six-year-old daughter plans to be a female football coach.
Then there’s my sweet baby girl, Breana.
She’s cheering along with Alexis and is a mini of her aunty, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
I only consult for Top Tier now and no longer work full-time.
My kids and family are my life, so every chance we get, we travel to Portland or Montana to visit with our parents.
The kids are close with them and all their cousins, and my sister and I even found a little diner here in Seattle to go to when she visits.
It’s not as good as PB & J’s, but it does in a pinch.
My sexy husband is forty-five now and has been retired for over ten years.
He is a league sportscaster and consults with the Seattle Westerners.
There is talk that they will be moving him into a coaching position soon, so in the meantime, he oversees our sons’ football team.
But the best thing he does is boss me around.
I love every minute of it, in our bedroom, of course.
