“The girl that was there on the last visit had come by my aunt’s daycare for a child interview.
She said something along the lines of Cojak wanting to see them and how I was using the kids as a pawn.
That pissed me off, so I scheduled a visit.
I didn’t miss him, want shit from him, or any of that bull you thinking.
I took the kids to simply say farewell as a group.
He knows about my marriage, and he knows we’re never seeing each other again.
He did pull CJ’s hair to bring him back because we were leaving.
Shit happened so fast I’m still registering it.
I saw your calls and text, but I felt guilty about going to see him, so I ignored them needing a minute to think.
I had spoken to Seri about helping me box the house up, and she agreed to help.
I just went there to start. I was coming home later… or tomorrow morning.”
A nigga could’ve suffered from whiplash when she said tomorrow morning. It took everything in me not to slam on brakes and do something to this girl. She was tap dancing like a muthafucka on that last nerve.
“ Tuh , just gon’ head and shut it on up, My Baby. That grave just keeps getting deeper and deeper.” I was done listening to be honest.
“Baby, I’m trying to explain. Any other time you listen to what I have to say so why not now? You being mean as hell right now.”
“Am I, Klarity? Any other time you ain’t lying to my fuckin’ face either. I mean, I had to put the cards on the table for you to even own up to the shit. Aye, stop talking to me ‘cause I ain’t in the mood, aight?” I was really sparing her ass so if she was smart, she’d take heed.
She nodded before removing her hand and shifting in her seat to look out the window.
The rest of the ride was quiet as hell, even the kids was on mute.
When I pulled up to the crib, I let everybody out making sure to keep the kids with me.
They were the calm to my raging storm right now.
CJ said nothing as we sat in the theater room watching Disney movies.
Essence was just happy to be in a nigga arms.
Klarity had me fucked up in more ways than one and I didn’t think she realized she was married to the devil in disguise.
I would really turn this city inside the fuck out.
When it came to my family, I was already on go.
However, protecting my kids made me careless with people lives.
I would take as many as needed until I was satisfied.
Lil’ did she know, her whack ass baby daddy was first on that list.
“Hey Aunt Cas,” I said stepping through the gate. I wore a smile that etched from ear to ear. I couldn’t stop smiling knowing I was ‘bout to off a pussy nigga. Dressed in an orange jumpsuit like the rest of the inmates, I knew what I was coming to do.
“You got thirty minutes, Royce. I can’t have the cameras off longer than that because then they go override and start recording for backup. You and Striker need to be in and out,” she said giving us a heads up.
“Oh, you already know how quick this ‘bout to be. He still in the same cell?” I questioned.
“Yup. Make it look like an accident, Royce. I can’t explain this shit any other way.”
“I got you, Auntie. Where the keys?” She handed them over and of course me and my brother slipped in that bitch like a thief in the night.
We went up floor by floor until we hit the one that housed Cojak. We bypassed each cell stopping at the end of the hall where his was located. He had the perfect spot to handle shit. Aunt Castina said get the fuck in and get the fuck out. That was exactly what the fuck we were ‘bout to do.
I quietly opened his door making sure not to cause too much noise to alert him or anyone surrounding the area.
I handed the keys off to Striker and told him to keep watch.
Slipping inside, I went straight for that nigga bunk only to find him not there.
I looked up top and he was cuddled up next to his cellmate like a hoe.
I had to take a second and make sure this was the same gay ass nigga My Baby was willing to lose her life over.
I mean damn, the least she could’ve did was went to see a nigga that wasn’t suckin’ dick to pass the fuckin’ time.
Grabbing him by his hair, I yanked his ass down off the bed.
He immediately started that screaming shit, and I chopped him in his Adam’s apple.
He needed to shut the fuck up. His cellmate woke up on that bullshit, so I put his ass down.
I wasn’t a fool. I knew not to bring weapons that these fools couldn’t craft themselves or get their hands on.
I personally had some shanks made to bring up in here.
His butt buddy was hit in the throat twice silencing him on impact.
“What… I do? What… I do?” Barely caught his breath and was already asking questions. I yanked his ass up and pinned him against the wall. It didn’t take him long to realize who the fuck had his fruity ass in the air helpless. “R-Royce? I ain’t did nothing muthafucka.”
“You better lower yo’ muthafuckin voice in here. I know that much.”
“You coming in here doing all this. What the fuck I do to you?” he asked in a quivering tone. It was quieter though.
He had tears sitting on the brink of his lids ready to fall at any given minute. He couldn’t stop looking at his cellmate every few seconds either. He must’ve really loved him. Gay ass.
“Maybe you ain’t hear me when I said Klarity was my future wife. You put yo’ fuckin’ hands on my son today all because you couldn’t get to her and that’s gon’ cost you.”
“That’s my son bitch ass nigga. That lil’ muthafucka got my name.”
“Had bitch. It ain’t been Jackson since I came in the picture.
Don’t even trip though. If he knew his daddy was suckin’ dick calling another grown ass man daddy, he would ask for a name change, too.
Everything you thought was yours got Atkins behind it.
Yo’ baby mama, yo’ son, and damn sho’ yo’ daughter.
I should’ve put you down before I left out this muthafucka but better late than fuckin’ never. ”
I spoke my peace and ended his shit in the same breath. As a token, I left the shank with him. After I cleaned off my prints that is. He held onto it as he laid lifeless on the ground. I did a light tap on the door and Striker opened it. We were back down to the area my aunt was in no time.
“Royce.” She stood by the door waiting to hear what I had to say.
“I had to chop his celly down, too. That’s my fault. I left the shank up there with him though. I did my best in making it look like an accident. I’m lying. No, I didn’t. I offed them niggas and got out of there,” I said smirking.
“I knew you wasn’t going to listen. I’ll handle it. Y’all get out of here and don’t come back or even call me. I’ll call on the family when I get home,” she said shaking her head.
“That’s a bet. I ‘preciate it, Auntie. I love you,” I chimed running out the doors with Striker on my heels.
It wasn’t shit like taking a life. The adrenaline from that shit was indescribable. I didn’t give a fuck ‘bout nothing right now. Striker took the wheel while I partied in the passenger seat. I fired up a blunt then poured a shot after. I felt damn good.
“Nigga you do this dumb shit every time. You good?” Striker inquired wearing a sly grin.
“Never felt better bruh. Take me to the crib so I can relax.”
“Where the hell you think I’m going?”
The drive back to the compound was a smooth one.
It wasn’t shit a muthafucka could tell me right about now or ruin my vibe.
I had fresh blood on my hands and if a nigga wasn’t careful, he could be next.
I was on that type of timing. Once we got back to our safe haven, Striker went his way, and I went mine.
Entering my crib, the only lights I noticed were the ones on the stairwells.
Each step held lights to help watch yo’ step going up.
I did a light jog up each one ready to get in bed and fuck my wife.
However, she had another thing in mind. When I opened the bedroom door, she was pacing back and forth with a look of worry etched on her face.
She gave me a onceover and her questions fired off back to back.
“Where the hell did you go Royce? And why the fuck is there blood on your sleeves? What did you just go and do?”
“Shit, I ain’t want to be the only one that ain’t go see yo’ gay ass baby daddy. I was feeling left out for a minute,” I answered heading for the bathroom.
“Please tell me you did not just jeopardize your freedom behind that nigga!” she yelled pushing me in my back.
“ Mmcht ! You should know me better than that, My Baby. I went to say farewell. You know, the same shit you did.” I was taunting her at this point. I still wasn’t over the bullshit she pulled earlier.
“This was to get back at me. Really? We got kids Royce!”
“It’s kind of funny you acknowledging that shit now, ain’t it? Fuck out my muthafuckin face Klarity,” I said gently pushing her to the side so I could get undressed.
She stayed quiet as I stripped down to my birthday suit.
I walked over and started the shower before returning back to the sink.
Grabbing the toothbrush, I applied some toothpaste and went to work on my mouth and tongue.
My face was next and surprisingly, she did it for me.
She knew I was pissed and was looking for a way in to get her point across without getting her ass handed to her.
As soon as she put the rag down, I walked off from her and into the shower. She picked up my clothes and carried them out the room. I hoped she had enough sense to burn that shit. She didn’t return until after I was stepping out wrapping a towel around my waist.
“I put the clothes in the bonfire Heidi and Mercedees got going next door. I’m about to throw something on and go chill with them for a little bit. I’m nowhere near being tired.”
