“We’ll keep this apartment for when we need to work, or we can rent it out or something…”

I listened as he talked, and my heart warmed at how he was planning the future with me. He wanted me to move in with him, he was talking about buying a kid-friendly, pet-friendly house… it all felt so surreal. Like I was stuck in a dream.

“We have time to decide on all of that,” I said. “The baby won’t be here for a while, still. But I don’t think we have to waittoolong before moving in together.”

Alex’s smile broadened, and he came to me and took me in his arms. He kissed me hard.

“Are you sure?”

I giggled and nodded. “Yeah. I know what it feels like to be away from you, and it sucked. I’d rather be as close to you as soon as I can and for as long as I can.”

Alex looked so happy my heart constricted.

“We’ll see what we can arrange, then. I want to make sure you’re completely comfortable here.”

He kissed me again.

“As long as you’re here,” I said, cupping his cheek and looking into his sky-blue eyes, “I know I’ll be comfortable.”

“I love you,” he said, punctuating each word with a kiss.

“I love you, too.” Before I could say anything else, his tongue slid into my mouth, and I sighed.

The length of Alex’s body was pressed against mine, and he moved his hips, his erection already starting to grow between us, sending a thrill through me.

I gasped and grinded my hips against him, letting him know that this was what I wanted, too.

Alex pulled me down onto the couch with him, kissing me deeper, sliding his hand down my back before he circled around and cupped my breast. I moaned softly.

“Is this okay?” Alex asked.

“I don’t know how you’re feeling, how much we can and can’t do…”

I smiled. He was so caring and attentive, and it meant so much to me.

“Right now, I can do everything,” I said with a grin and waggled my eyebrows. “Later, I’m not so sure. We’ll have to talk to a doctor, but I’ve got a good one I’m seeing, so we’ll go together and we’ll figure things out.”

“Okay,” Alex said, and it looked like he relaxed a little.

“But that’s later, my handsome. Right now, I want you to take me.”

His eyes darkened, and a look of pure lust crossed his face before Alex kissed me again.

He laid me down on the couch, his body on top of mine, and he grinded his hips against me, his erection thick and hard now, ready for me.

I was getting hot and bothered, too.

“Let’s go to the bedroom,” I suggested. I wanted him, but not here on the couch. I wanted him in the bed where we could take our time and explore each other to our hearts’ content.

Alex stood, and he kissed me, lifting me up with his hands on my ass. I wrapped my legs around his waist, and he kissed me as he carried me through his apartment and to his bedroom.

When we lay down on the bed together, he kissed me again, just making out, relishing in each other for a long time.

When I couldn’t stand it anymore, I pushed Alex onto his back with my hand on his chest, and he complied, rolling over. I straddled his hips and worked his shirt up his chest, kissing hisskin as I exposed it. He sat up, and I pulled off his shirt before he fell back.

I worked my way over his perfectly chiseled chest, my fingers brushing the edge of his ink at his collarbone. The defined ridges of his abs tensed as my kisses tickled, and I scraped my nails lightly over his ribs so that he groaned and his breath hitched.
