WREN

Energy crackled through the air at Locke’s words, but I couldn’t find it in me to care. My head swam, and my skin felt like I’d laid out under the blistering sun for far too long. Everything in me hurt.

I’d only been through a heat a handful of times in my life, but it had never been this bad before. Normally, I took ibuprofen and called off work for a couple of days, but that was it. Now, I felt like I was dying.

It was Ender who moved first. He knocked his chair back, striding around the table and lifting me from mine.

I let out a moan of half pain, half pleasure. Just the feeling of his arms around me felt as if every nerve ending had awoken, including ones I didn’t even know I had.

Ender cursed as some part of me became aware of Franco asking what was wrong. But his voice sounded so far away.

“Get her upstairs,” King barked.

That voice was closer, and I wanted more of it. I wanted to feel the vibrations against my skin like endless fingertips.

I twisted in Ender’s arms and cried out.

“Holy hell,” Puck swore. “How did we miss this?”

“We’ve had a few other things on our plate,” King shot back.

A new hand brushed my cheek as we climbed the stairs. “It’ll be okay, Little Warrior,” Brix vowed. “We’ll take care of you.”

I twisted again, so uncomfortable in my skin but needing more of Brix, more of his promises and comfort.

“We need to make sure she’s taken something,” Locke said softly. “We can’t be reckless with her.”

“Hera,” I croaked. “Gave…me…herbs.” Each word felt nearly impossible to speak but I somehow managed to get them out.

“She could’ve given us some warning,” Ender spat. “We could’ve had time to prepare.”

“You know we’d never have been able to prepare for her first mated heat. It’s always the strongest. We just have to see her through it,” King said quietly.

Some part of me was aware of a door opening and then closing again. I recognized glimpses of our pack bedroom—the one that was truly ours. We hadn’t even had a chance to all sleep in the bed as a completed bond yet.

“Locke, get some ice,” Kingston ordered as Ender laid me on the bed.

I let out another moan as the duvet’s cool cotton brushed against my overheated skin.

Ender cupped my face, his rough thumbs brushing the apples of my cheeks. “Killing me, Kitten.”

“Hurts,” I whispered.

“We’re going to take the pain away, Birdie. I promise.” A second later, Puck ripped my dress down the middle.

“I liked her in that dress,” Locke called from the bar area.

“I’ll buy her a new one,” Puck spat .

“Fuck, she’s beautiful,” Brix ground out. He climbed onto the bed, his hand trailing down my neck.

Wetness gathered between my thighs, soaking the delicate lace of the boy shorts I wore. I swore I could come with just his fingers grazing my neck. My back arched as I searched for more. Though what it was, I didn’t know.

“Look at the way she bends,” King rasped. “Never breaking because she’s so damn strong.”

My breaths came in quick pants as Puck shifted between my legs. His hands slid up my thighs, making me cry out and thrust my hips upward. “Baby,” he whispered. “I’ve got you.”

Ender gripped my hips, holding them as Brix slid two pillows under them. The position had me completely on display as Puck’s claws shredded the sides of my underwear. He tugged the lace free and let out a low growl. “Your scent. It’ll bring me to my knees every time.”

He ran his nose up one thigh until he reached the apex. His tongue lashed out, parting me and making me cry out.

Kingston moved onto the bed, his palm gliding over my belly. “She’s too hot. She’ll overheat. Locke, the ice.”

“I’ve got it,” he called, climbing onto the bed.

King lengthened one claw and snipped my bralette in three strategic places. It fell from my body with no effort at all. But I was too lost in Puck’s tongue to care. He lapped at me as if he were a man starved. Then his tongue circled my clit, flicking that bundle of nerves.

Everything in me wound tighter as Brix’s mouth met mine. His tongue drove in, giving me a whole new sensation to war with. But then the ice hit me.

Cubes ran over my collarbones and around my chest. I could feel Ender and Locke moving them in tandem, but also with rhythms entirely their own. My nipples pebbled, straining for more, and I groaned into Brix’s mouth. He took and took, melding my taste with his .

The ice hit my nipples, and my back bowed even more. Agony ripped through me, and my inner walls fluttered. I needed more. Needed to be filled.

“Puck,” Kingston growled. “She needs you.”

In a flash, Puck’s tongue was gone. I felt movement between my thighs and heard rustling as King’s finger found my clit. He circled and stroked. “We’ve got you, Little Warrior. Just hold on.”

The ice moved around my hard peaks, making them strain and tighten.

Then Ender’s lips closed around one, working it.

The juxtaposition of that and Locke spinning the ice around the other had my hands fisting in their hair.

The warring feelings spun me higher, showing me everything this bond could be.

Each of us was uniquely different but coming together to create something more.

Puck gripped my thighs, his fingers pressing so tightly they’d likely leave bruises—ones I’d wear with pride because he knew I needed it to keep me here. His tip bumped against my entrance, and then he slid in.

I cried out into Brix’s mouth, reveling in the feel of the stretch, the delicious pressure. Puck retreated and thrust in again, more force behind his movements this time. Kingston circled my clit, mirroring Puck’s tempo.

Each of my men worked in tandem yet gave something that was uniquely theirs.

My skin crackled as Puck picked up speed.

Everything, all of it was too much. My body trembled as everything in me began to tingle.

The orgasm hit me like a physical force, painful as I tipped over the edge, but it was only matched by the pleasure it brought with it.

I arched and writhed, soaking up everything my mates gave me. I lost all sense of space and time. There was only feeling. Wave after wave crashed into me until I could take no more and the darkness claimed me. But there was no fear because I knew my mates were with me.
