Page 46 of Rescued By the Alpha SEAL
For the first time in a long while, I let go of some of the tension in my shoulders, even if just a little.
The night around us feels more tangible, less ominous, grounded by the shared weight of our words.
As I look into Logan’s eyes, I see a flicker of understanding, but it lies buried beneath layers of unspoken pain—his burdens and mine entangled under the endless sky.
And then, suddenly, that air of vulnerability transforms into something electrifying.
The distance between us shrinks as my heart pounds in my chest, driven by an instinct I can’t ignore.
Before I think better of it, I push forward, our lips meeting in a soft, tentative kiss. It deepens, folding in the weight of all that we’ve endured—the grief, the tension, the yearning for connection.
I pull back slightly, breathless. The sparks of intimacy flitter between us, igniting something alive. “Logan, I…” I begin, but the words feel heavy and tangled.
“Let’s not use words right now,” he murmurs, foreheads touching, his voice low and sincere.
In that moment, surrounded by the enveloping darkness of the night, I sense a deepening bond between us—a connection that feels both frightening and exhilarating.

LOGAN
Ilose myself in Sloane as our lips collide, both of us drawing closer as if we’re trying to merge into one.
Her warmth ignites a fire within me, and I grasp her waist, pulling her tighter, as though I could absorb her into my very being.
The kiss is frantic, desperate; we’re trying to consume every part of one another.
We stand on the porch, wrapped in the shadows of the evening, losing track of everything but each other. The chaos of the world outside falls away, melting into the background.
When she moans softly into my mouth, it sends shivers down my spine.
I deepen the kiss, feeling the way her body responds, arching against me, urging me on.
With every brush of her lips against mine, I feel the weight of my past—the burdens, the missions gone wrong, the faces of those Icouldn’t save—begin to fade, tucked away behind the warmth of her embrace.
As I pull back just enough to meet her gaze, searching for any hesitation, I find none. Her eyes are heavy with need. "Are you sure about this?" I ask, my voice hoarse with unexpected vulnerability.
Her response is instant and fierce. "Yes."
With that word, our lips crash together again, and I guide her backward, moving us into the cabin, our kisses a heated blur as I propel her toward the bedroom.
Each frantic breath between us whispers promises of something more, and the lingering doubts of my past start to fall away with every step we take.
Inside the dimly lit space of my bedroom, I feel a sense of freedom that surprises me; a brief sanctuary where I can leave the ghosts behind.
I push her gently onto the bed, unable to break our kiss as my hands find their way to her shirt. The fabric slips away, and I trail kisses down her neck, savoring the curve of her collarbone.
Each soft sound she makes pulls me deeper into the moment, erasing fragments of the guilt that has haunted me for too long.
“Logan,” she breathes, a hint of impatience in her voice. “Don’t tease.”
I smirk against her skin, riding the wave of shared desire.
“Good girl,” I praise, feeling her heat and wanting to ignite it even more. “Just a little longer, then I’ll give you what you want.”
As I dive lower, kissing and savoring every inch of her, the burdens of responsibility and fear slowly dissipate, replaced by the warmth radiating from her skin.
I let her pleasure consume me—who I was, what I’d done, all of it fading behind the feral need in this moment.
