Relyn
R utra was dead. It wasn’t even the Mahdfel that had ended him either. It was a standard mutiny. When Rutra had gone running back to his ship, the rest of his loyal crew had promptly spaced him. There was no pity for him among any quarters.
Grom, however, with the promise of lucrative Mahdfel contracts, had been promoted and was now putting together a more reliable and less leaning toward piracy crew and staffing Alana’s Misery.
The ship had been renamed to Grom’s Delight much to the objection of several members.
Grom insisted that it would be a clear message in the future, because what kind of pirate would name their ship Delight?
The buzz and excitement around their return was palpable.
The Etlonian ship had taken all the women and arrived nearly a day ahead of them.
Their entourage with Bright, Wendy, Nora and himself walked from the landing pads to the center square, drawing people as they went, until it felt like the entire contents of the city were standing in a ring around them.
“Welcome home!” Kave shouted. “I had not hoped to see you, sister, so soon,” he said to Wendy. She shrugged.
“It hasn’t been boring,” Wendy said.
“I will take her back to Terra,” Bright stated.
“No you will not!” at least three people shouted at once, including Wendy.
“I will take her,” Relyn said. “If she wishes to go, and any of the others that want to go.”
“You have just got here. Let’s not talk about leaving so soon,” Kave said. “I hear you bring a gift to Etlon, far greater than imagined.”
“We can restart our species. Men, women, all Etlonian. We can take back what the Suhlik stole from us,” Bright said.
“With volunteers,” Nora prodded.
“Yes, of course. With volunteers,” Bright said.
Relyn spotted a familiar purple form in the crowd.
He sighed. He was hoping to have a little more time to sort things out with Nora before Caldar pressed him into another mission.
But if he was here already, Relyn was going to have to put his foot down and tell his mentor that his mate would have to come first, at least for a while.
“I believe it is time for a feast!” Kave shouted. Everyone cheered loudly and from somewhere music began to play. A terran female ran up to his mate and grabbed both her hands.
“I’m so glad you’re back. And look at you,” she said, giving him a head to toe glance.
“Meadow, this is Relyn,” Nora said.
“Well, I hope that now you’ve got your own hunk of man meat that you will reconsider staying. But that’s not what I wanted to show you. We have a few new arrivals.”
Meadow motioned them to follow her towards Caldar. Nora saw what Relyn hadn’t.
“Oh my goodness!”
Two Terran males stood next to Caldar, a father and son if Relyn had to guess.
“Marco!”
“Hiya Miss! Or Mrs. I hear,” the boy wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.
Relyn quashed the jealousy that came writhing up as Marco hugged Nora.
Caldar signaled for Relyn to step aside and the pair watched his mate and the boy engage in an animated conversation.
“I saw a few reports, put two and two together, and thought this might make a convenient wedding gift,” Caldar said. “The boy’s father was dying and I’d heard of your mate’s desire to return home out of concern for this youngling. Now she has less of a reason to return.”
“You knew I’d go with her.”
“We don’t need any more assets on Terra. They are an open book, most of the time. Petty intercontinental squabbles, politicians acting in their own self interest. It’s not hard to learn which Terran to pay off to get exactly what you want,” Caldar said.
“But now there’s no reason for her to return. I was looking forward to slitting the throat of the coward that nearly killed her. It wouldn’t take much to get a few Terran samples and-”
“Apparently, he’s already been taken care of by the local authorities,” Caldar said. “I’m sorry to ruin all your fun, though having a few Terran faces in your arsenal wouldn’t be amiss.”
Caldar was always thinking three steps ahead of everyone else.
“I was planning to request a few months leave,“ Relyn said.
“You haven’t even heard the briefing for your new mission, yet,” Caldar said.
“Unless it requires me to remain here or be stationed on Sangrin, I don’t want to hear it,” Relyn said.
“Zenik was a very good operative,” Caldar said, pointing at one of the green Etlonians in the crowd. “His mate is exceptional as well. She’s killed several Suhlik of her own.”
“I do not know Zenik, but he looks to be a fine Mahdfel,” Relyn said, wondering where Caldar’s point was buried.
“Get to know him. You will like him. I am going to broaden our training program. Between the two of you, I believe you have the skillset to surpass even my abilities. It would require you to remain here, however. I shall let you discuss it with your mate,” Caldar said.
Relyn was hoping that it wasn't such an easy guess that Caldar had made these plans too far in advance, but the way he disappeared into the crowd told Relyn that Caldar was already quite sure that he would accept the new task.
Relyn crossed to Nora who threw her hands around his neck.
“Let’s dance, big guy,” she said.
“I do not know how,” Relyn said.
“Oh, let’s be honest with ourselves. Neither do I, but it’s more like hugging each other and swaying to the music.”
Indeed, he saw a number of pairings doing just that, so he followed suit and reveled in the feel of his mate so close to him.
“My, my, my. Are you happy to see me or is there a banana in your pocket?”
“I am not carrying any fruit,” Relyn said, wondering if the translator was a bit buggy.
By her snort, he thought it probably was.
“Meadow said I could have my old apartment back. Wanna go see it?”
“I’m sure the accommodations are fine.”
She snorted again.
“I would like to be alone with you. In a private space. Just like my apartment. Where we can do private things.”
“Ah,” he said, finally catching on. “But wouldn’t it be rude to leave the festivities so early? Especially when they are in our honor?”
“Other people are leaving. And I think there’s a good chance that no one will miss us,” Nora said.
“Lead the way.”
She guided him to one of the lift terminals and gave a vocal command. When the door slid open, it revealed a spacious living quarters that were a step up from anything he’d had before.
“It is a lovely apartment. Much bigger than the one on the ship,” Nora said. “And you should see the shower!”
“I am not interested in the shower,” Relyn said truthfully. He was more interested in the large bed.
“Okay,” Nora said. She began to peel off her clothes, revealing more and more of her delightful peach flesh. The sight of the naked curve of her ass and the pointy nipples standing proud atop her round breasts filled him and his cock with a familiar yearning.
She stepped into the shower and turned the water on. “Are you interested in the shower now?” The water hit her neck and cascaded down her chest, forming two little waterfalls off her breasts. She cupped her hands under them as if to offer him a drink.
Nora laughed when he made his clothes vanish in an instant. He stepped in to join her and she immediately took his cock in hand.
She bit her lip coyly as she stroked him. “Changed your mind?”
He didn’t answer, except to bend down for a kiss. Their tongues met playfully for a long moment while his hands explored her wet flesh. Relyn parted the two folds between her legs to find her just as wet and ready there.
He thrust a finger inside her, then two, delighting in the little gasp and moan she let out as he did so.
She reached for his horns, which his Sangrin form found sensitive and enthralling.
Relyn wanted to wait until he felt her climax pulsing on his fingers, but he grew impatient with every stroke of his horns.
Relyn bent his knees and picked his mate up. She eagerly parted her thighs and he settled her against the wall as he lowered her down onto his cock.
He set a rhythm that was insistent, but not urgent, and Nora seemed to find great pleasure in it. Now he managed to feel her climax around him. He slowed for a moment, letting her catch her breath, and then pushed her harder. Her moan was guttural and it spurred his own release.
Rather than withdraw, he formed back into his inky blackness and wicked all the moisture away from her skin.
Relyn slid them both out of the shower and onto the bed that had caught his attention earlier.
He lingered inside her, applying pressure to all the points that made his mate cry out his name.
Much later he reformed beside her and curled her into his arms.
“Do you still want to go back to Terra? I will find a way to get you there, if you wish. Caldar has offered me a position here, on Etlon 2.”
“Is it dangerous?”
“He wishes me to teach,” Relyn said.
“Ha! Meadow was heavy hinting that Marco would need a teacher. I mean, right now he thinks this place is great. Wait until he realizes there are no girls here.”
“It is possible they will, as you said, begin a surrogate program here as well. I do not know if I can have children, with my condition. You may wish to-”
“It’s a little early for that bucko. We’ll worry about it when the time comes,” Nora said. “But to answer your question, as long as I can get a few of my things from home sent through the puke portal, I will be happy to stay here.”
“Then it is settled,” Relyn said.
“Yes, unless you want me to write you some lesson plans. Then the deal’s off,” Nora said.
“What are lesson plans?” Relyn asked.
Nora laughed, kissed him, and then patted him on the chest.
“I love you, but you have got a lot to learn.”
