Here is a long extra Chapter :3
Enjoy
----
Yino had never run so fast in his life.
He didn’t know if it was due to the bloodline pressure from his senior sister, or because he had just liberated the phoenix bloodline within him. Either way, ever since breaking through the barrier of the Dark Night Church, Yino had been sprinting wildly through the streets.
His incredible speed caused his field of vision to narrow.
He ran across rooftops and through one alley after another.
Yet despite his efforts, whenever Yino looked back, Yuyan would emerge from another alleyway right behind him, swinging her sword and pursuing him with equally impressive speed.
"Yino!!!"
"I know it’s you!!!"
Yuyan, unable to contain her anger, shouted as she gave chase.
She leapt into the air, moving swiftly across the rooftops with her lightness skills. Her gaze precisely predicted the black-clad youth’s next turning point, allowing her to take a shortcut across the rooftops to intercept him.
"—Stop him for me!"
Yuyan formed hand seals in front of her chest as she ran. Her eyes gleamed with a cold intent, and simultaneously, her razor-sharp silver sword whistled through the air behind her.
The Frost Chant sword rushed forward, predicting Yino’s path by more than ten meters, its blade targeting the wall at the alley entrance where the black-robed youth was heading.
In the next second, Yino sensed the aura of death.
But he wasn’t afraid. Back at the Dark Night Church, Yino had already known that the Frost Chant sword recognized his identity.
Back then, Yuyan’s strike had indeed been aimed at his throat.
Yet when the Frost Chant sword came whistling through the air, it had merely cut through the string of Yino’s mask.
Yino knew that with Yuyan’s swordsmanship, this couldn’t possibly be a coincidence—the Frost Chant sword must have deliberately revealed his identity to its owner.
And now, with Yino’s mask momentarily dislodged, half of his face had been recognized by Yuyan.
Senior Sister wouldn’t dare kill me...
Yino thought to himself, even though alarm bells were ringing in his mind as he observed the sword’s predicted trajectory.
But considering the karmic connection between Yuyan and the Frost Chant sword, Yino decided not to slow down but to charge straight through the sword’s defensive line—
"What?!"
At the critical moment, as Yino was halfway through his charge, his body suddenly drew its sword against his will and mercilessly plunged the demonic blade he had seized from the Dark Night Church into the ground.
Regardless of Yino’s intentions, his Holy Physique detected mortal danger and executed the most efficient emergency brake possible.
Meanwhile, the black demonic blade embedded in the stone bricks screeched like brake pads—
You bastard!
I was treasured and passed down at the Dark Night Church for over a hundred years, but in your hands for less than a day, you’re already using my sharpest edge as a brake handle!!!
In his sea of consciousness, the sword spirit continued to rage in heartbroken fury.
But now, with Yuyan rapidly approaching along the rooftops, Yino had no time to argue with this pampered sword spirit.
"Yino! You can’t escape!"
Seeing that Yino had been forced to stop, Yuyan shouted sternly, leaping from the rooftop to land in front of him with her sword at the ready.
Yino retreated two steps but heard footsteps behind him. Looking back, he saw Holy Maiden leading numerous patrol guards to surround him.
In that moment, Yino seemed to be caught in an impossible situation.
The only thing giving him a shred of comfort was that his mask hadn’t fallen off—he had managed to secure it back in place while fleeing.
Now... Yino could only stall for time, waiting for his last glimmer of hope.
"Young lady, I’m afraid you’ve mistaken me for someone else."
Under everyone’s watchful eyes, the black-clad youth unhurriedly pulled the stolen black demonic blade from the crack in the ground.
At the same time, he exuded an unprecedented demonic aura, slightly raising his chin as he turned to face the white-robed woman who blocked his path with her sword, as well as Holy Maiden and her followers who had caught up from behind.
His inscrutable demeanor and the eerie aura emanating from him intimidated the many patrol guards present. Even Yuyan, who had been so certain of his true identity, was momentarily stunned.
Rationally speaking, Yuyan also thought the boy’s profile she had glimpsed earlier might have been a hallucination.
After all, Yino was now an invalid who had lost all his cultivation, and moreover, he was the legitimate young master of the Grand Tutor’s Mansion and a righteous disciple of the Wuji Sect. How could he possibly possess such a demonic and dark evil cultivator’s aura?
Yet emotionally... Yuyan absolutely trusted her sixth sense. She might have been under tremendous pressure from her recent cultivation breakthrough, but no matter how exhausted she was, she couldn’t possibly mistake the face of the junior brother she had spent half a year with on Ranmo Peak.
"Whether you are Yino or not, I will reveal the truth now."
Lost in thought, Yuyan narrowed her eyes coldly and slowly raised her Frost Chant sword, pointing its blade directly at the black-clad boy trapped between the two groups.
At these words, Yino quietly clicked his tongue, feeling somewhat annoyed.
"Holy Maiden, there’s something I don’t quite understand."
Seeing Yuyan about to approach him with her sword, Yino could only temporarily change tactics and address someone else to buy time.
On the other side, when Yino looked back, the black-robed nun leading the numerous patrol guards also appeared momentarily stunned.
She held her fists together in front of her chest in a prayer-like gesture, but Yino could sense that Holy Maiden’s heart was filled with uncertainty and confusion.
"Holy Maiden, you said yourself that whoever could draw the holy sword would be the destined one you’ve been watching over for years."
"Now, I have drawn the holy sword, and just as the legend foretold, it has transformed into a weapon that suits my personality... I like this sword, and this sword is equally willing to follow me."
"Since the facts are clear, why are you and this lady attacking me?"
Yino calmly stated the facts, completely ignoring the indignant protests of a certain sword spirit in his sea of consciousness as he raised the demonic blade for everyone to see.
His words left not only Yunmei and Yuyan confused, but also the surrounding patrol guards and onlookers who had heard of the holy sword’s legend, all widening their eyes and whispering among themselves.
"Holy Maiden, do you remember the description of the destined one in the prophecy?"
"Black... black hair... black eyes... features of a Central Plains person... a young and strong youth..."
Yunmei recited softly. Although she couldn’t see, with each word she spoke, she seemed to sense through some mysterious connection that the youth before her indeed matched these descriptions.
For a moment, even the onlookers began to waver.
But just then, Yunmei bit her lip and spoke again with reluctance:
"But I can feel that the holy sword doesn’t accept you! You aren’t the destined one from the prophecy who would save Western Province City from the demon abyss with justice in his heart!"
"Why couldn’t I save Western Province City?"
This time, before Yunmei could finish, Yino abruptly interrupted her.
He gripped the Black Moon demonic blade tightly and said with a faint smile: "The demon abyss won’t approach Western Province City until tomorrow. Without a true disaster to test me, how do you know I won’t step forward to save Western Province City?"
"Besides, for all these years, this holy sword hasn’t accepted any master but me!"
"Even if I’m not truly the destined one, wouldn’t it be better for me to take the sword to fight demons and do something useful rather than leaving it as a mere decoration in your church’s backyard?"
Yino deliberately paused for a moment, surveying the crowd to gauge the atmosphere, before finally letting his gaze fall on Yunmei’s D-cup chest.
"How about this?"
"Let me keep this sword for now. If you later meet someone who seems more like the true destined one than me, just contact me, and I promise I’ll return the sword to you overnight."
As he finished, Yino gave a meaningful smile.
After all, Chen Jianxin’s remains had already been completely consumed by the Full Moon Goddess. How could Western Province City possibly find a new destined one other than Yino?
But just as Yunmei was sinking into hesitation, Yuyan blocking the alley entrance gave a cold laugh and raised her sword:
"Holy Maiden, I don’t think we need to waste words with him!"
"Whether this youth is truly the destined one or not, I can determine it with just one strike!"
As she said this, Yuyan’s lips curled into a smile.
Now, facing this extremely familiar black-clad youth, Yuyan suddenly felt all the capillaries throughout her body opening up. Even the Divine Transformation stage cultivation she had achieved three months ago after consuming the Azure Forest Heart was now able to unleash its true power.
Now... Yuyan had an epiphany.
Yino was her greatest mental knot.
Now, with the true source of her mental block before her, Yuyan could clearly feel her heart racing, and the long-suppressed bloodlust of her sword dao couldn’t help but become excited.
On the other side, Yino turned his head back, his lips twitching slightly as he sensed something ominous in Yuyan’s smile—
"If he can withstand this sword strike, then he is the destined one in my eyes. If not... then he’s an impostor sent by the demonic abyss, and I, Yuyan, the Sword Immortal of the Wuji Sect, will execute him on the spot!"
Speaking casually, Yuyan no longer cared about the opinions of those around her.
She raised her sword in front of her chest, assuming a stance that was all too familiar to Yino.
During the past half year of cultivation on Ranmo Peak, Yino had been called upon countless times by Yuyan for sword practice and to check whether he had been studying diligently.
Of course. Out of gentlemanly agreement, Yuyan would seal her cultivation to maintain the same level of power as Yino, purely comparing technique. So even during Yino’s period of complete cultivation loss, Yuyan had never stopped sparring with him.
And at the beginning of each duel, Yuyan would always start with this gesture of lightly raising her sword, a stance that contained a hint of mockery to provoke fighting spirit, while also prompting Yino, as the weaker party, to strike first.
After half a year of tempering, Yino had progressed from being defeated by Yuyan with just one hand to being able to hold his own against her for six or seven moves.
His swordsmanship had become increasingly skilled, the muscle lines of his body more mature, and in duels of equal cultivation realm, Yino had occasionally been able to defeat Yuyan a few times using unexpected moves from his past life memories...
However... Now truly facing his senior sister’s opening sword stance outside of Ranmo Peak, Yino felt an unprecedented sense of pressure and survival instinct.
Yuyan’s gaze made it clear she wasn’t joking. Either Yino would die resisting with a single strike, or he would use the unique sword technique Yuyan had taught him to cleverly evade the attack—but in doing so, he would completely confirm his identity to her.
This left Yino with seemingly only one choice...
"Now... Impostor, face my sword!"
Yuyan coldly commanded, her black hair and long skirt fluttering gently in the wind.
