T here are hands all over my skin as my body cries out for more. Who knew it would feel this good to be worshipped by three guys at the same time?
All my friends, obviously.
A giggle slips from my lips at the thought of what was right under my nose these last three months that I didn’t indulge in. But to be fair, no one ever tempted me until I met Ledger, Bryer, and Colsen.
Suddenly, all the hands that had been touching my naked body pull away, leaving me feeling empty as they stare down at me with confusion.
Hit with a strong dose of reality, I scoot up in the bed, feeling foolish for letting them take me home for a quick hookup.
I’m the head of the medical department for the team, and I can’t be acting like this.
I twist my body away from the three of them and try to get out of bed. “This was a mistake. I’ll call a cab and be out of your way.” I say. But instead of letting me go like I expected, I’m pulled back down to the bed onto Bryer’s naked lap.
“Where do you think you’re going?” he lifts my hair off my neck and places a soft kiss on my neck as he pulls my back tighter against his front. “We’ve only just begun.”
“You all stopped touching me.” I do my best to hide the hurt in my voice, but I know I’ve failed when Bryer turns me around in his arms and gives me a soft kiss on the lips before Ledger and Colsen do the same, making me wonder who’s thirty-one and who's in their early twenties. They seem so mature for their age.
“In our defense, you started laughing while we were showing you our best moves.” Ledger gives me a playful wink, which makes me feel a little better about the situation.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to laugh,” I say, realizing I need to talk to someone before I can continue with this hookup.
Because, as much as I want to believe otherwise, that’s all this can ever be—a one-night stand.
Tomorrow they will come to their senses, and I’ll be just somebody they used to know.
“I need to call my sister.” I slide off Bryer’s lap and jump out of bed, grabbing my phone and making a dash for the ensuite, closing the door behind me.
“Come on. Pick up. Pick up.” I whisper into my phone.
Finally, after five rings, Kendall answers. “Hey, sis, what’s up?”
Kendall’s usually cheerful voice carries a hint of sadness.
I shouldn’t be bothering her with my stupid problem about whether I should sleep with three guys at the same time.
“Ah, it’s nothing. It’s just that we haven’t talked in a while.
” I cringe at my terrible attempt to cover up the real reason I’m calling.
“You insult me, Kameron. I thought you knew me better than that. I can always tell when something is bothering you. Now spill.”
Knowing it’s no use to argue, I tell her the story of how I ended up at an apartment with three of the youngest hockey players on the team I’m the medical director for.
“Yikes. That doesn’t sound like you at all.
But I really don’t see a problem with having sex with more than one guy at a time.
Didn’t you learn anything from your ex, Greg?
” She laughs into the phone, breaking the tension I was feeling about the situation.
“Besides, weren’t you the one who told me to do something for myself?
Think of this as a present you’re giving yourself. ”
I think about my boring, nonexistent sex life, “You know what, Kendall. I’m going back out there and have the best night of my life.”
“Yay! Now go out there and have some fun for me. I’m glad one of us is getting some action.”
“Wait, but you’re engaged?”
“Yes, I am, but I seem to have picked the one guy who wants to wait until we get married to have sex or even kiss. But enough about me. You go have some fun. I love you, and make sure to do everything you want and more tonight.” She ends the call before I can question her about her relationship with Chaz.
I place my phone on the counter and open the door to three eager faces, “Are you ready for me?”
