Boogie
I t was a slow night as I walked the grounds of Halloween Town. King always added gory Christmas decor that people seemed to love and that kept people coming to visit. I was waiting for a mark to show up when I felt a familiar stare on me.
I continued to walk like I hadn’t noticed, looking for her out of the corner of my mask. It had been almost a week since I had seen her, which made me irritable and antsy especially after the report I had received from Winchester of the attack.
She made them promise not to tell me, but Winchester knew where his loyalties lied, and he came to me like he should have. He gave King and I the rundown of the meeting with Shepard, how she stood up to him, and how she was hurt at her favorite burger place.
King was ready to fly to Montana to kill Shepard, but he would be ready for one of us to retaliate and I didn’t want to play into his theory that we were “under her thumb”.
It was better to let him think he was in the clear and then kill him.
We also had to let Ally think her secret was safe and her trust in the triplets was safe too.
I put my hands in my pockets and walked towards the merry-go-round since I knew it was her favorite. The feeling of being watched grew stronger as I walked around it, seeing her out of the corner of my eye. She had her hood up, but I saw a piece of red hair sticking out.
There was a shadow just big enough for me that I could hide in to wait for her behind the merry-go-round. I pushed myself against the gate to blend in with the shadows, I listened for her footsteps that should have come by now.
Did she not see me come this way?
I peeked out of the shadows when I felt the sharp edge of a knife under my chin.
“So predictable, Boogie,” Ally purred.
“Oh, I’ll show you predictable,” I growled, knocking the knife out of her hand, grabbing her around her waist like I was going to tackle her. She sidestepped me, kicked my knee out and ran.
“So predictable!” She laughed and ran away.
I laughed, got up and chased her, not having to run far before I ran into King who had thrown her over his shoulder. He smacked her ass.
“Not fair, you used the cameras,” she squealed.
“Nothing is ever fair, Little One,” I said, smacking her ass too before grabbing a handful.
“Not with you two,” she moaned, as I trailed my fingers down the seam of her pants to her pussy.
“Boogie, we have a job to finish,” King said, watching my hand.
“Is he here?” I asked, sliding my hand in between her legs.
“Just pulled up,” he said transfixed, as Ally moaned.
“I guess we better hurry.” I removed my hand.
“NO!” Ally whined.
King chuckled. “Soon, Doll.”
He let her down slowly before kissing her roughly, like he was trying to devour her.
I grabbed a handful of her hair and pulled her head back before I kissed her hard.
She bit my lip, the pain turning into pleasure.
She whimpered as I tugged on her hair again.
I wanted nothing more than to sink into her tight heat and forget about everything for a few hours.
I didn’t want to be Boogie or her to be Noelle or King to be the man who ran Halloween Town.
I just wanted a few hours away from the chaos.
“Boogie,” King snapped.
I snarled, yanking myself away from Ally to walk away as I warred with myself.
It would be so easy to give up this life and take them so far away that we could just be us; normal people who lived a life that was easy and less demanding.
I could already picture coming home to Ally after a long day, her in my bed every night and every morning, waking up to both of them.
The dream seemed so close I could grasp it in my hand, but I knew it wasn’t that simple.
I walked away, not trusting myself to say or do anything stupid.
They talked as I walked towards the haunted house where we would capture the man.
A man who apparently needed to disappear, who saw something he shouldn’t have and now we were left to do the dirty work.
Could I give this up? It gave me an outlet to keep myself in check and if I didn’t keep my demons at bay, what would happen?
Before I knew it, I was in the house and King was introducing Sarah to Ally. They shook hands and Sarah asked her a few questions as King came up to me. Ally glanced back at me, biting her lip as she studied me.
“You good?” he asked.
I stared at him not knowing what to say. I had a lot of things to say, but I didn’t know how to say them.
“Get the kill and let's see how you feel afterwards, ok?”
I blinked and forced myself to nod.
He pulled me in for a kiss, but I couldn’t kiss him back no matter how much I pushed myself to reciprocate.
“It’s ok, don’t force it,” he murmured against my lips. “Whatever is going on we will take care of you.”
My breathing grew faster as my vision blurred. I turned around getting into position. Nothing would calm me down except a kill. When I didn’t feel them follow me, I turned around to see King leading Ally out the back door.
I growled, which made him turn around. King raised his brow at me as I growled again. Ally studied me with her head tilted, a crease between her eyebrows showed me she was confused or worried. King shook his head and pulled Ally towards him as I snarled. He wasn’t going to take her away from me.
“Boogie, focus on the target and?—”
“I want to see you work,” Ally said, pulling him towards me.
“Ally,” King warned her.
“King,” she said back in the same tone. “I want to see.”
She walked towards me with a small smile on her face. I expected to see fear, maybe uncertainty, but instead she smiled at me.
“Come on, big boy, show me what you can do,” she said, putting a hand on my chest.
I looked down at her small hand as she slowly pulled me back from the darkness, just enough that I felt more in control of myself. I grunted as I grabbed her hand gently and pulled her towards the room we used to grab people.
I opened the small window to see a few kids screaming and running. The opening was too tall for her. I gave her a lift up to see, and her scent enveloped me as King pressed against my back to pull me further from the madness. She chuckled softly as a guy fell running into the room.
We people-watched for a moment until King and I received a text from Mars that said he was coming in. I set Ally down as I got ready.
“Alright, Doll, wait here for us,” he said, and kissed her foreheadas he opened the trap door.
Words still escaped me, but I pressed my forehead to hers as she kissed my nose. It was such an innocent act, it made me feel a tightness in my chest that threatened to explode. I think it made me feel… good?
I followed King out of the room, crouched in the corner and waited for him to come in alone.
My adrenaline spiked as I waited for my kill.
He walked in with a bored expression, stilling at the doorway like he felt us in the room with him.
He scanned the room, and walked slowly with his hands in his pockets which made me wary.
The idiot could have had a weapon, but something told me it was more than likely a knife.
A sound at the other side of the room gave us the distraction we needed as King and I reached for him.
Usually only one of us would have taken care of him, but in his file he was an underground fighter and we weren’t about to take any chances with him.
King hit the side of his head with a bat as I put him in a sleeper hold, he struggled for a moment which made me loosen my grip until I readjusted and held on tighter as I dragged him backwards to the open trap door.
Ally closed the door immediately as King held up the bat, but he had gone limp in my grasp.
I dropped him, his body making a loud thud as he hit the floor.
He gasped, waking up a lot quicker than we had expected.
King swung the bat down as he caught it with one hand pulling one of my feet out from under me.
I snarled, and righted myself before I fell on the floor.
I saw the knife glinting as it came towards me, and I kicked it out of his hand while King brought the bat down landing on his abdomen.
He grunted from the pain, but it didn’t seem he was going to stop anytime soon as I launched on top of him and landed punch after punch.
He took them with ease, and hit me back as the pain cut through my bullshit, sharpened my senses as I grabbedthe bat from King and shoved it against the guy’s throat.
King stepped on his hand while the other tried to hit me.
Ally walked up to us, slicing his arm, forcing his hand down to step on it.
I wanted to admire her, but I had a job to do.
I leaned my weight onto the bat to cut off his air supply as he struggled, his body trying to buck me off until he was only twitching and I heard the snap I was waiting for.
I leaned up breathing hard, admiring my kill for a moment, looking over at King who was looking at Ally, and I did the same.
She killed with us. A part of me was worried she would have run away if she saw this part of me, but all I felt was reliefthat she had helped and saw us for who we really were.
It was one thing to hear what we did, it was another thing to experience it.
Ally looked down at me as I yanked her down to kiss her savagely. It was messy and rough as we knocked teeth together, the need for her was overwhelming.
“We need to disposeof him and then we can fuck her into next week,” King said roughly.
I snarled, knowing he was right, sucking on her lip before letting her go. Ally’s eyes were wild as her chest rose quickly.
“What do we need to do because I’m ready to fuck you over his body,” she panted.
I groaned, growing harder for her as King said, “Fucking perfect, Doll.”
