I step into the house, exhausted from a grueling practice but so damn happy to be home. The new canvas Laney had made of our family hangs in the foyer, and it brings an instant smile to my face. Caroline—my little mini-me with her dark hair and piercing blue eyes—grins mischievously back at me from the canvas. The photographer captured her spirit perfectly, and I love it.
