Page 15 of No Strings Attached (Omega’s Preference #4)
Olivia
With dinner finished, the three of us curled up together, I can finally relax. Both of my mates are here and safe, well-fed and resting. I would have never imagined that we’d finally get our own moment, an Omega of our own, and definitely not one as strong as Elias.
Elias lets out a soft purr, a low rumble that vibrates through his chest as he tugs Jamie closer, his strong arms wrapping around my husband’s waist. Jamie faces me, his hazel eyes meeting me with the same knowing look I’ve been sporting all evening.
He threads his fingers through Elias’, my heart swelling at the tenderness Elias so easily shows Jamie.
A tenderness Jamie has been so desperate for.
I lean forward to kiss my husband, loving the way he melts against me.
A few strands of hair fall into his face and I brush them back behind his ear, taking in the fact that they both cared for each other in that shower.
Jamie’s skin is red in places but he’s dressed in Elias’ shirt and his hair is dry. It’s a mess but dry nonetheless.
Jamie lets out a soft sigh, bringing me back to the moment as Elias drags his nose up and down the side of Jamie’s neck.
It’s a testament to how strong Elias’ instincts are and how, even in sleep, they are forefront and center.
They’re so beautiful together that it makes my heart hurt because until I deal with Warren and Tristan for that matter, I feel like I can’t truly enjoy this.
Not when they both disrespected my mates.
I sit up, careful not to disturb them as I start filtering through all of the contacts I need to call—most importantly, Reginald, the family lawyer who can help me sift through Elias’ contract at his earliest convenience. Hopefully, bright and early tomorrow morning.
The moment I plant my feet on the floor, there’s a shift on the other side of the bed.
I twist around to see Elias’ green eyes focused on me, his glare pinning me in place.
I freeze, wondering if I’ve done something wrong as he climbs off the other side of the bed, and stalks around to my side.
My breathing picks up, my body warming as he towers over me, his presence commanding even in his exhaustion. “Where are you going?” he growls.
I bite back a laugh, my lips twitching at how adorable he is, all grumpy and protective, like Jamie when he’s deep in his feelings.
We’ve never spent the night with an Omega, and the intensity of it, the way Elias' instincts are pulling him to us, is new and just a tad bit overwhelming. “I have a call to make and I…”
“Do it tomorrow,” he demands.
“Okay, baby, I won’t leave.”
Elias gently pulls me to my feet before sliding the straps of my gold dress down my shoulders.
I hadn’t planned on sleeping the entire night so I never thought about undressing but Elias has no such qualms. The shimmery silk slips against my skin, and I glance over at Jamie, who’s watching from the bed, the Alpha grinning at Elias’ display.
A shudder runs through me as Elias presses a kiss to my bare shoulder, heat curling through my chest. He pushes the dress farther down, the fabric catching at my waist, and I shiver as the cool air hits my bare breasts.
Elias cups them in his hands before dipping his head, sucking one nipple between his lips.
My back arches, a soft gasp escaping from me as I brace myself against his shoulders.
He moves to my other breast, his tongue teasing that nipple as well, my body igniting under his attention.
Then he pushes the dress down completely, the silk pooling at my feet on the cabin’s wood floor.
I gasp again as his hands settle on my waist as he drags me into a kiss, his lips firm and hungry, tasting of need and something deeper.
“ Mine, ” he purrs against my lips. “Ours. ”
A soft purr rumbles from his chest, quieter than an Alpha’s as he guides me back onto the bed, only clad in my panties. He settles behind me, pulling me back against his chest, Jamie scooting into my arms. “Better?” I ask.
Both Jamie and Elias hum, the sounds vibrating through me. It’s been a long time since I’ve been sandwiched like this, caught between two bodies, and it’s never felt this right. This time, it’s perfect.
