Jamie turned and nodded. “Yeah. No need to time contractions. Let’s go.”

The hospital room was quiet—Jamie was asleep on the bed, and Declan passed out in a chair. We were all drained, with Jamie having been in labor for more than twenty-four hours. But there was no way I could sleep, not with our perfect baby in my arms.
Dim light glinted off his soft brown hair and highlighted his tiny face.
“Emory…” I whispered.
He scrunched his little nose then started smacking his lips. A minute later he started fussing.
“Are you hungry, Em?” I asked.
“Bring him here,” Jamie murmured.
I turned to see our handsome—but exhausted—omega holding his arms out.
I stood, carried our baby over, and watched as Jamie nestled him against his chest and helped him start feeding.
“How are you feeling?” I asked, leaning over to kiss Jamie’s forehead before perching on the side of his bed.
“Like I just pushed a baby out of my ass.”
I chuckled. “Makes sense, considering you did.”
He looked down at Emory with a smile. “He looks so much like me. Who do we think the other dad is?”
“Does it matter?” Declan mumbled from his chair. “It’s not like any of us will love him any different.”
“True,” Jamie replied. “His dads have always been a team.”
I smiled. It was true, it had always been the three of us.
And now it always would be.
