Page 10 of Making Him Sweat

“Olivia, I knew it. Iknewyou would do it. You’re amazing!” He kisses me and I kiss him back.

I break away for a second. “That doesn’t mean you get free plumbing here at the gym, you know…”

He laughs. “I could pay you in kisses. Wait a second.”

He squeezes me again and walks over to grab the champagne, picking up a couple of water glasses. He pops the cork and fills our glasses.

“A toast to you. Well done for all your hard work. I love you so much…” he clicks his glass against mine and we both drink. My attention is caught by what looks like a tiny sparkler in the bottom of the glass.

I hold my glass up to the light before I realize what it is. Aron’s eyes are bright as I fish the ring out of my glass. It’s a stunning solitaire diamond in a gold band. I look up at him.

He gets down on one knee and takes my hand. “Olivia, will you marry me? This year has been the happiest of my life and I want to spend the rest of my life making you happy. What do you say?”

I gaze down at this wonderful man. He’s my protector, my cheerleader, my lover. I can’t imagine not being with him. We’re the perfect fit.

“Yes!”
