“Oh, God. These samosa rolls are absolutely delicious. They are even better than an orgasm.” Ruhi groaned, biting into her roll.

“I guess I’ll have to refute that,” Vaayu smirked and bent down to kiss Ruhi.

“You’re welcome to prove it, hubs.” Ruhi grinned.

“Ruhi masi, what is an orgasm? Is it a new organ in the body?” Amaya asked with the innocent curiosity of a young child.

“Nice question, Amaya. Your Ruhi masi is an expert. Answer away, Ruhi.” Kabir laughed.

“Yes, Ruhi. Please tell your niece about this new organ.” Mira teased her.

“Darling, you are far too young to understand the organ as it is quite difficult and needs thorough studies. You’ll understand it once you’re a big girl. So, for now, just focus on colouring the pictures, my love.” Ruhi explained, and Amaya bolted for the play area.

Adil shook his head. “Things will only get worse. She is going to ask more freaky questions in the future.”

“Never thought the golden boy would be scared to answer a five-year-old,” Vaayu chortled loudly, and Diya started crying.

“Not again, V,” Kabir grumbled. “I told you not to do that. Diya cries whenever you laugh that loudly.” He got up, swinging a crying Diya in his arms.

“Sorry, bro. I don’t laugh that loudly. Let me see if she stops crying.” Vaayu offered.

“No, don’t. She won’t sleep if you start playing with her. I’ll just put her in the cot inside.” Kabir walked towards the room adjacent to the terrace.

“You go on, baby. I’ll bring her bottle.” Leaving her seat, Kyra stood up.

“Relax, princess. I’ve got it.”

Kyra smiled, thinking how lucky she was and how her life had turned out. Kabir was a hands-on father, and she absolutely loved him like that.Hecame outside after a few minutes. “Diya finally slept.” He sat next to Kyra and gently pulled her in for a kiss.

“Good to know. Who would’ve thought you’d be a baby whisperer?” Kyra encircled his neck with her arms.

Ruhi teased them, “Oh my goodness, you two are so corny. Who would have imagined this ending for the saga of Kabir and Kyra?”

“I’m really happy that you’ve found each other.” Mira smiled. “In fact, I am delighted that we are all here. I love you all and feel incredibly blessed to have sisters like you girls and brothers like these two.” Mira had a drink in her hand.

Mira called out to everyone, “Grab your glass.”

They all raised their glasses.

“To friends for life,” Mira exclaimed.

Kyra took a look at Amaya and Vanika playing together. “To our family!”

“To our children,” stated Ruhi.

The three women quickly glanced at their husbands, Adil, Vaayu and Kabir.

“And to love!” Kyra exclaimed as they all clinked their glasses.

Kabir’s fingers tightened over Kyra’s, and he traced her gorgeous features with his eyes. He told her, “I love you, wifey.”

Kyra had a soft smile on her lips. “I love you too, hubby.”

Kyra cuddled close to Kabir and felt immensely blessed. There were a billion different ways things could have gone wrong and not worked out for them, yet it only took a split second for the stars to align, and everything settled exactly as it should have. She didn’t understand how the universe functioned or why some people’s paths collided. She looked at her husband’s beaming face and understood that love, however, was the unifying force that bound everything together.

Kabir pulled Kyra close, tucking her head under his chin. He kissed her temple and sighed contently. He could never get tired of having Kyra in his arms. His best moments often came as a surprise, just as Kyra had stormed into his life unexpectedly. As he looked at his brothers with their life partners, he noticed how smitten they were with their better halves.

Adil and Mira met through an arranged marriage, and their love bloomed into a lovely romance. In contrast, Vaayu and Ruhi got married in a mutual fake marriage, but as they fell in love, their fake relationship evolved into a real one. It was as if these women had literally invaded the lives of the Oberoi brothers, derailed their carefully laid plans, and transformed them into ideal family men who adored their families.

What a rollercoaster ride it had been!

There’s a saying, ‘It doesn’t matter where you start, what matters is where you end up’.

Just like that, it was neither the beginning nor the end for them. It was a sea of eternity, filled with laughter, love and happiness.
