Chapter Thirteen
Kyler
Holy fucking hell!
Only this time I didn’t let my words slip. Had Roen shown the slightest bit of offense to my dirty talk I would’ve kept it to myself. But given his reaction each time, my boy enjoyed a bit of salacious chatter during sexy times.
But that tight ass of his had me counting backward from a hundred to keep from coming.
“My beautiful boy.”
Gorgeous.
Thoughtful.
All mine.
I was one lucky man.
Roen’s abdomen muscles flexed with each shimmy of his hips. A solo dance just for his Daddy as he rode me. Smooth, effortless glides. Literally I could watch him for hours. I’d never been this enthralled with a lover before.
“Baby.” Awestruck, my eyes never left his, as my hand traced along his jawline. He leaned into my touch, and I cupped his cheek.
“Daddy, make me come.”
Who was I to deny him such pleasure, especially that which I benefitted from. He hissed when my fingers teased the tip of his cock and danced along his shaft then gripped it. Not too tight, but just enough to elicit that delightful hiss he released.
Unable to take my eyes off him, his face morphed through a myriad of emotions and when his eyes opened and met mine love was reflected deep within his chestnut gaze.
“You’re my everything, Roen.”
His eyes widened and his muscles tensed, tightening around my cock as he came. The pressure triggered my orgasm as I fell over the edge with him.
“Daddy, daddy, daddy,” he chanted the moniker I’d longed to hear before collapsing atop me.
My fingers twisted through his sweat soaked hair as I held him tight. Our two hearts beating in a steady staccato. “I love you so much, Roen.”
“Mmm,” his moan vibrated against my chest. “Love you, Daddy.”
My poor sleepy boy dosed right off. Gently, I turned us on our sides, careful not to rouse him.
With barely a mumble I slid out of bed and wiped him down and tossed the rag aside before joining my boy in slumber.
It’d been a long week apart and with neither of us having slept well during the separation I held cradled him in my arms for a long, blissful night’s rest.
“Morning Sprite.” with my lips to his forehead the vibration as I spoke stirred him.
“Five more minutes, Daddy,” he mumbled.
“No can-do sweetheart. Breakfast is ready and Mark’s here.”
“Oh shi…oot.” He bolted upright and out of bed. “Do I have time for a shower?”
“Easy, Sprite. You have time and Mark’s in no rush. He wanted to run a few things by you and go over the new jobs. Take a quick shower and I’ll put your pancakes in the oven to keep warm.” He kissed me and took off naked as the day he was born for the bathroom.
“Caught a glimpse of a naked tush b-lining it for the bathroom.” Mark laughed. “Sorry I woke you guys this morning.”
“Not a problem at all. We both slept solid last night and right through this morning’s alarm. Had you now shown up I’d have missed the time I need to prepare for this afternoon’s check ins.”
“We really built something great, didn’t we Ky?”
“That we did, my friend, and I’m happy to report that we are booked solid through September.”
“Wow, that’s insane. Will we be able to rent any units for Christmas?”
“As of right now we can do three or four. Four I think.” Mentally I ran through the spreadsheet I’d built. “Yeah, four. It’s no hardship to have guests with our families here. They can join us for meals or do their own thing, and you can crash with Roen and me.”
“Very true. Our moms cook enough for an army as it, is so a few more mouths won’t make a dent.”
I had to laugh. The truth in my friend’s words was spot-on.
“Mark, hey, I’m sorry but I didn’t know we were meeting this morning.” Roen apologized as he got to the table, his hair nowhere near dry.
“Deep breath, Roen,” Mark smiled, easing Roen’s nerves. “We didn’t, but not only do we have to set a schedule for the jobs in town, but we need to go over the scope of work. Plus, I thought we’d layout the spot for the new garage.”
“Whew,” Roen relaxed back in his chair. “Okay, cool.” I slid a plate piled high with rainbow sprinkled pancakes and a side of bacon in front of him. Delight danced in his eyes when he shimmied in his seat. “Thank you, Daddy.”
“You are very welcome, Sprite. Here’s your milk.” I filled a plate for Mark and I then sat beside Roen while the three of us dug in.
“I almost forgot, my dad said he’d be happy to help with any projects we have,” Roen said, pausing to gauge Mark’s reaction.
“That’s a great idea, but doesn’t he have a day job?” Mark asked, but I was happy to hear he was on board with potentially utilizing Kory’s skillset. From what Roen told me. his dad was quite gifted when it came to handyman tasks and woodworking.
“He does but honestly, I think he’s over it. Mom joked about coming for a visit and never leaving. They’re both done with the fast-paced Vegas life and the heat.”
I more than understood that. Leaving the valley for the pines was no hardship for me either.
“Hmm,” Mark got his thinky face on, as Roen called it. “Having a crew up here would allow us to bid on more jobs. The two of you work well together?” Roen nodded his head. “Don’t want to cause any family rifts. Not all can work side by side.”
“Like I said, he taught me everything. Funny thing was he was the one who showed me tricks that even the electrician I apprenticed under didn’t know about. He just doesn’t want to manage people so as long as we’re equals, we’re good to go.”
“We have plenty of room to build private cabins, Mark.” Acres of untapped land to build upon and plenty of space to help keep tree removal to a minimum. “We can always plant new pines for any we remove.”
“Alright, Ky,” Mark leaned back in his chair, and I already knew what he’d say next. “You get the numbers together for say, two more cabins. One for you and Roen and another just in case. And I’ll get the material costs to you.”
“Why not build ours attached to the garage?”
“Wonderful suggestion, Roen.”
“Roen, I’ve never once regretted hiring you.
” Roen beamed at Mark’s compliment. “Kyler, I know how you roll. I tell you right now, do not skimp on yours and Roen’s home.
Make sure it includes everything the two of you could want.
Remember you’ll be up here at times when no guests will be and on occasion you may be snowed in.
Make sure you have a playroom and a pantry large enough to store a week’s worth—at minimum, of food.
I don’t want to hear any tales of getting lost in a blizzard trying to get to the mess hall kitchen for food. ”
Roen’s eyes widened. “No, Daddy. That’s where I put my foot down.”
“Oh, is that how this works,” I winked. “Yes, Daddy Mark, I’ll make sure my boy and I are properly set up with plenty of space.”
“Normally I’d suggest solar but nestled in the forest as we are direct sunlight is a challenge though I’d like to test it out on your cabin. We’ll add a fireplace and a backup generator for sure, but going off grid holds great interest to me.”
I raised my coffee cup. “Happy to be your guinea pig.”
Mark laughed. “Ky, I just have to say I haven’t seen you this happy or relaxed in a long time. Years even.”
“Yes, it would appear my best friend knew what I needed more than I did.”
“If we’re going to have more littles and pets up here, what do you guys think of building a screened in ball pit? That way we keep the wildlife and bugs out, but it won’t require any electrical or plumbing.”
“Another great suggestion, Roen, and something the two of us could knock out in a day.” Mark sat there, deep in thought. “What about adding ziplining? Nothing crazy, say twenty to thirty feet above the ground and across the campsite?”
“I say yes to all of it. Will need to research the rules and regulations on the zipline but the ball pit would be a blast and having the balls contained is even better.” The familiar excitement I’d felt when we first decided what to include in the campsite was back.
“Honestly, the more destination items we add the better off the bottom line will be.” Limitless opportunities were within our grasp and opened doors to a variety of different guests and lifestyles.
“I’m excited.” Roen popped up, rinsed his plate and put it in the dishwasher. “When can we get started?”
With a quick peck, my boy followed Mark right out the door and off they went. Those two just tripled their workload and I wondered if they’d even realized that.
When I walked into the office, the box filled with the outside gifts for Roen was there. A reminder I’d forgotten to mention them to him. We’d need to pick a spot for his garden but with the new house being built he may choose to plant it and keep it as his private little oasis closer to it.
The remainder of the summer schedule was filled with a mixture of guests from multiple families to team-building retreats for corporations.
As my mind wandered, it hit me how well some of the changes Roen suggested would fit in.
I could see the team building including the zip line and of course the families as well but the children would thoroughly enjoy the ball pit.
“Hey Daddy, what’s this?” Roen pointed to the box. As soon as I logged in, I’d hit the ground running and forgot to tuck it away.
“Open it up and see. I think it has your name on it.”
“OMG!” Roen squealed as Mark stepped inside.
“I wondered where he’d gone. We just marked the ground for the proposed garage layout. The sooner we get the list of wants together the sooner I can bring the architect in. Whatcha got there, Bud?”
“Look! It’s all gnomey garden stuff. Lights, statues, solar stuff. When can we set it up, Daddy?”
“That’s up to you, Sprite. We can put it anywhere you want or hold onto it for the new house.”
He did his thinky face, which consisted of rotating eye and nose scrunches. “I want to do it now beside the office. Can we do that?”
“We absolutely can. Show me where you want it.”
“Can we do it together later today? We want so show you the house and the ball bit and all kinds of stuff.” Roen hopped up and into my arms. “Thank you, Daddy. I love you.”
“Love you too, Sprite. Come show me whatcha got.”
They’d spray painted an area to the right of the office. “What’s the idea here?”
“Ball pit,” Roen grinned. “I can’t wait for all my friends to come and play in it.”
“Perfect spot, Sprite.” Near the playground as well so parents wouldn’t have to chase their little ones all over.
“This we’ll have built by the end of the week. We have a job in town to do as well but this won’t take much,” Mark replied. “You’re in charge of ball ordering Ky. It’s fourteen feet by twelve feet and you want the balls at least three to four feet high.”
“That’s a lot of balls.” My mind whirled with calculations.
Mark clapped my shoulder. “It is, but that’s what we have you for. Come on, we’ll show you the proposed layout for the garage and house.”
Around the office and behind it about a hundred and fifty feet the mountainside sloped upward.
“We were thinking this spot. Your view is limited more directly behind the office by the apartment above. You have a great view of the center area with the firepit and playground as well as the office. You can see about seventy-five percent of our main property from here. Living above the garage it’ll be even better. ”
“Would there be a way to build a wrap around porch so Roen and I would have 360-degree views?”
“Great question. It depends on how much interior space you want.”
“I’d like three bedrooms and two bathrooms for sure. A master with a true ensuite that includes a separate tub, a playroom for my Sprite, and a spare bedroom for visitors. A kitchen and dining space large enough to fit a table for six plus a living room with a reading nook and fireplace.”
“You don’t want much, do you Ky?” Mark teased me. “What about you, Roen?”
“Daddy hit it all. I like the wrap around porch idea too. It would be nice to have folding glass doors that opened all the way off the dining area so it would be like eating outside.”
“Love that idea, Sprite.”
“That’s gives us a great basis to work with.
I’ll see when the architect is able to come out.
Tomorrow Roen and I are working in town.
I want to make sure he’s set up and ready to roll before I head back down to Sedona to check on the crew there.
Roen should be able to knock out that restroom remodel by the end of the week.
Let’s grab lunch then we’ll start on the ball pit. ”
The rest of the week flew by. Roen and I had breakfast together then I packed his lunch and sent him up the hill into town. He’d text me on his way home to see if I wanted him to pick anything up. By the time he got here I had dinner on the table.
Saturday Mark was back, and the balls were in and Roen was the first to christen the new ball pit.
That silly boy played and giggled, drawing a crowd and soon the other kids jumped in.
It comfortably housed eight depending on size.
In the end we decided to post a set of rules with a maximum number allowed in at one time for safety reasons.
My boy was in heaven and that was what mattered most to me.
