“Kit baby, come here.”

I bowed my head and stood where I was.

“Hey, now. This isn’t still about the fire, is it?”

Slowly, I nodded.

Parker sat at the end of the bed and held out his arms. “Come here now.”

I dragged my feet. Finally, I stood before him. He put his hands at my waist and looked up at me.

“This is going to be put to rest right now.”

I blinked, biting my lip.

“We took care of everything, right?”

“Yes, sir.”

“And I showed you how nothing was damaged except a tiny burn on your knee.”

“Yes, sir.”

“And I explained how accidents happen like that.”

“You told me not to touch.” My face heated. My voice was hoarse.

“That’s true. And you did touch. But you learned your lesson.”

Finally, I blurted, “I feel like I need more, Daddy.”

Parker’s facial muscles went slack. His mouth opened. He looked at me with a harder eye, now.

“Elaborate.” The word came out as an order.

“I feel like I still need to fix it. What I did. I need to make amends.”

“I am beginning to understand.”

The tightness inside me subsided a little. If Parker understood, he could make everything better.

“But,” he continued. “You need to help show me what that might look like so I will know. So I can help you.”

I took a step forward. I put my hands on his shoulders. “I was bad and I know deep inside I need to be punished.”

Then I shoved his hands off my shoulders and bent, draping myself face down across his lap. My feet touched the ground behind me. My arms dangled in front. I pushed my ass up into the air as much as I could.

“I deserve a spanking.” I kept my voice low. “As red as you can, Daddy, to make me remember.”

Parker let out a small groaning sound.

Parker cleared his throat. Very firmly, he said, “Boys who ask for spankings must take their pants off, first.”

“Yes, sir.” I rose up and stood in front of him.

His eyes were dark with a look I’d never seen before. He watched intently, not helping this time, as I pushed my sweats over my hips, taking my underwear with them.
