She leaned into him, letting herself soak up his warmth, his solidity.The bar was full, the music loud, the brothers rowdy, but none of it mattered.The only thing that mattered was that she was exactly where she was meant to be.

Lena slid her hand over his, threading their fingers together.

“I love you,” she whispered, quiet but sure.

King’s answering smile was faint but fierce.
