Pheromonal Suppressants/blockers: Suppressants block the ability to sense the Allure scent of compatible mates and make it impossible to recognize the level of mateship.
Some can even block the First Touch or weaken the First Orgasm effect on True Mates (reducing or eliminating the electric discharges).
Neck Marking: A practice commonly observed between adult alphas and omegas during heats, with the exception of True Mates, who can mark each other even outside of heat. Its purpose is to alter a partner's scent, signaling to others that they are 'mated' / taken.
Mating Sounds: These sounds, whether voluntary or involuntary, are primarily exchanged between alphas and omegas (betas only on occasions), serving various purposes related to mating or fighting.
The First Touch, The Pull, The First Orgasm, The Joining, and The Bond are terms associated with the interactions between True Mates.
The Pull begins the moment True Mates make contact, often triggered by sensing each other’s Allure scent or The First Touch .
The Bond typically starts to form after the First Orgasm and involves a quasi-telepathic or empathic connection between mates.
The Joining refers to a usually long-lasting night of passive sexual intercourse that can regenerate and rejuvenate both partners.
Heightened Senses: Please note that alphas and omegas have heightened hearing and a heightened sense of smell, allowing them to hear heartbeats and detect pheromones and other subtle scents.
Purple alphas are known to have even keener senses and night vision.
