Chapter Seventeen

TYSON

A ngie was spread out on a beach towel, her tan skin a glorious honey tone, her knee propped up so that my eyes followed the curve to where the string of her pink bikini rested on her luscious hip.

Just looking at her had me hard. I licked my lips, eager to slip my tongue up her skin and taste the sweat that had beaded on her toned stomach.

“You ever drag me out to a place like this again and I’ll make sure that bullet hits the target next time, Raines,” Greyson Tides groused as he moved beside me.

“I don’t think I’m the one who dragged you here. That would be your fiancé, Tides.”

“A beach? Couldn’t you have it someplace normal?”

I glanced over at him, unhappy that I had to draw my eyes from Angie’s body. “Normal?” He looked uncomfortable in his white button down and black slacks. “Do you ever relax, Tides?”

“Never. Relaxing is for pussies like you and Brinks.”

“Damn, remind me why I had to invite you again?”

He tore his eyes from Riley, giving me a wicked grin. “Because we’re business associates now and baby girl would have cut me off from that sexy body for a painful amount of time if I’d kept her from it.”

My jaw ticked. “Don’t let Mason hear you say that and don’t call her baby girl. It’s as bad as Mason calling Casey princess. Makes me want to punch you both.”

“I’d like to see you try it.” He swallowed his shot of bourbon and set the glass down on the bar with a loud thump.

“I think that staff member’s getting a little flirty with my sister, Tides,” Mason said, approaching us.

He gestured toward where Riley and Casey were standing in the shallow water, giggling.

Both had bikinis on that covered more skin than Angie’s, but not enough.

I hated the way my sister dressed and since I considered Riley to be another sister, I hated seeing her out of her normal conservative clothes.

“Isn’t that bikini a little skimpy for Riley, Tides? I’d want to cover her up so that guy can’t see all that skin,” I said, trying to irritate him, but irritating myself instead.

“Says the man whose bride has almost every inch exposed.” He adjusted his sleeves and ignored my glare. “Guess I need to go show that boy it’s not nice to mess with another man’s woman. And I’ll need to remind Riley there are consequences to showing what’s mine to other men.”

I stared at him as he walked away with the confident swagger of a man who shouldn’t be messed with.

“Does it piss you off when he talks like that, Mace? ‘Cause it sure pisses me off.” I glanced at him, holding back my laugh. His jaw was so tight I was waiting to hear it pop. “I’ll take that as a yes.”

“Fucker,” he muttered, grabbing a drink the bartender had set out. The two I’d ordered for me and Angie were waiting for me to take them, but I let them be.

“He’s good for her. As much as it frustrates the two of us.

” When I turned back, Tides had Riley thrown over his shoulder and was storming from the beach, a playful smirk on his face.

Riley was giggling, and I didn’t want to imagine what was going to happen in that hotel room for the rest of the day.

“That’s good for her?” Mason asked.

“As good as you are for Casey. If I have to hear you making her squeal in the kitchen, you can watch Tides own your sister.”

Casey was making her way over to us.

“Why are you wearing that skimpy thing, Case?” I asked, as Mason grabbed her and pulled her in for a kiss.

“Because my man likes it, that’s why,” she said, pushing from his arms with a laugh.

“Damn right I do. Sexiest thing here,” he said, smacking her ass and making her jump.

“Don’t make me hurt you,” I warned him.

Casey kissed me on the cheek. “Settle down, big brother. You’ve got your hands full with Angie. Stop worrying about me.”

“I never stop worrying about you.”

Mason folded his arms around her and pulled her back against his chest. “I worry about her now,” he said, nibbling on her neck.

She leaned her head back on him. “How long are we staying?” she asked.

“Till the morning. Tides is flying out with Riley at dawn. We leave a few hours later. Why? Do you have plans for us, princess?”

I rolled my eyes. “I don’t want to hear them, whatever they are.

” I grabbed the drinks from the bar. “I’m going to torment my wife.

You two keep the hands to yourself or take it to your room like Tides did.

And if you don’t, I’ll tell you everything he’s likely doing to your sister until I aggravate you enough that you leave. ”

“Asshole,” Mason grumbled as I walked away.

“You love me, buddy.”

“Is that what they call it?”

Shaking my head, I made my way to Angie.

My wife. It seemed surreal to say, but we’d married earlier in the day with the morning sun shining down on her hair, highlighting the strawberry strands that were growing in.

I’d promised her a beach wedding, and I’d delivered, booking the resort and ensuring we had it to ourselves by canceling everyone who’d booked for the weekend.

There’d been some bruised egos, but I’d made up for it by throwing in some amenities.

Their complaints had been worth it when she’d walked down the aisle toward me.

Joey had ruined her dream wedding, so I gave her something even better.

With pink rose petals and white sand as her aisle, she had looked like a goddess in her white dress.

Not see-through and skin flaunting but stylish and stunning.

She’d beamed at me when she’d handed her bouquet of pink and white flowers to Casey right before her father placed her hands in mine.

Pink. Of course the flowers were pink, just like the material that had draped the archway where we stood and the dresses Riley and Casey had worn. Because if my girl wanted pink for our wedding colors, she was getting it.

I’d been the last person anyone had imagined getting married and here I’d gone and done it before everyone else.

Tides and Riley were planning to tie the knot in another month, pushing their intended early April wedding back while I healed and made my marriage to Angie official.

Tides hadn’t been happy that his plans with Riley had been moved again but Riley, who was as obnoxious as Casey about me getting married, had worked her magic on him and let me sneak in first. Something I’d taken great pleasure in reminding him of all day.

Mason and Casey hadn’t set a date for their wedding yet, wanting to enjoy the freshness of their relationship before they took the step, but he had bought her a massive diamond ring that now sat on her finger, one that Angie instantly compared to her own.

I’d had to buy her a second ring to wrap over it just to satisfy her.

My girl was spoiled, and I didn’t care. I intended to continue spoiling her for the rest of my life.

“You know, if you keep that leg at that angle, it’s gonna tempt me to slide between them and take you right here, Anj.” I set the drinks down as she lifted to her elbows and peered up at me, the sun shining in her eyes and turning them golden. “That doesn’t help. Now you’re just teasing me.”

She licked her lips, and I groaned, dropping next to her and pulling her onto my lap. “When are you not ready to fuck me, Raines?” she asked, sitting up on my erection, which lurched at the move.

“I’m always ready to fuck you, Mrs. Raines.” I cupped her breast, her nipple prominent through the thin material of her suit.

“You wanna take your hands off my sister, Raines?” Tony called from across the beach.

“That would be a no, Tony. Don’t you have a territory to run? I’d suggest you stop acting like you’re on vacation, get out of your swim trunks and on a plane home, and mind your damn business.”

“I’m always dressed like this, Raines,” he said before turning back to flirting with the girl serving drinks.

“Are you going to yell at him for flirting with my staff, or do I have to do that?” I asked Angie as her hand rubbed over the black viper that coiled around my scar, fangs bared.

The damned wound hadn’t healed enough when I got inked so I decided to keep the scar prominent as evidence of what I’d do to protect my girl and make the tattoo evidence of what I’d do to my enemies if they ever touched her again.

“Why don’t you forget about him and tell me how much you love me,” she said, dropping on me. I moved my hands to her ass, squeezing the firm skin and pushing her into my dick.

“Yeah, I think we need to take this someplace more private, baby. I really want you right now.”

“Dirty old man,” she teased before slipping from my hold. She lifted herself and my eyes followed the move of her body, the way her tits bounced when she stood. “I’m going upstairs to take this suit off. I have a toy that can give me attention if you don’t want to play.”

I scrambled up, following her. “No way that toy is taking the place of my cock. Now, if you want to play with that some before I have my turn, I’m down with watching that.”

She turned, walking backward, and gave me a devious smile. “Why don’t you help me with it and if you really want, you can join it.”

“Damn, that sound like a plan.” I smacked her ass hard, the sound loud enough for Tony to yell at me.

Snatching her up into my arms, I carried her back to the building, her arms encircling my neck as I took us to our honeymoon suite, plans of ravaging her the rest of the night and into the next day possessing my mind.

But as I threw her on the bed, crawling over her, those big brown eyes looked up at me with nothing but love and all plans to take her hard like I always did disappeared.

Instead, I made love to her, relishing in the experience of connecting with her on a level that only existed for Angie, one that had always been hers to own and to claim and forever would be.
