Page 14 of Horror and Chill
And the worst part? The part I keep circling like a drain? I don’t even know if he did kill Jay. Because if he was capable of that kind of violence, why not do it to me? Why stop at one?
Why not both?
Unless he didn’t do it at all. Unless someone else did. And if that’s true… Then who the hell did?

I’ve keptmy head down since the weekend and the events that unfolded after my live. So far, it seems like they don’t suspect me, not officially, but Jay’s murder has shaken the whole studio. Lorna’s had to run damage control with the new cammers. Chad and Kylo too. Everyone’s whispering about whether Jay was targeted because of the work he did. But I know better.
It wasn’t about the studio. It wasn’t random. It was me.
The notes. The emails. The shadow in the woods. They didn’t just find him. They removed him. Because he was associated with me.
I bury myself in work like it’ll erase what happened. Two days off was enough to let rumors breed. Tonight, I go live again. A Q&A stream, low effort. Just a way to ease them back in.
I sit in front of the camera, lace-trimmed sweater pulled off one shoulder, hair in loose waves.
“Alright, my creepy little voyeurs,” I say. “Let’s talk about the forest.”
The chat lights up the second I say the word “forest.”
Names blur past in bright neons and blood-reds. My regulars are out in full force tonight, plus a handful of new lurkers I don’t recognize. Some are hyped. Others… curious in a way that tastes too close to suspicion.
CryptCummin:That scream… it didn’t sound fake. Was it?
I smile tightly, leaning forward just enough to frame my face in the soft glow of my ring light.
“Well, Crypt, I’m flattered. I’ve always said if you’re going to scream, make it count. But yes…it was part of the performance. Sort of. Let’s call it method acting, shall we?”
ThighHighPriest:Did you know he was gonna catch you? You looked scared.
“Oh, I was scared,” I say, licking my bottom lip like it’s all part of the tease. “That’s what made it hot. But yes, we had a loose plan. The running, the chase, the ‘catch.’ My co-stars and I tend to keep it flexible, so the fear feels real.” I don’t addtoo real. I don’t let my smile falter.
DaddyVoid:Who was the guy in the mask? Was it the same dude from your other vids?
That one gives me pause. I sip water to buy myself a second. “Sharp eyes, Daddy. But don’t worry. I like to switch it up. Different roles, different masks. Keeps it fresh. So I’ll keep that one a secret.”
GothDaddy69:Tell us the truth. Did you come?
I raise an eyebrow. “Do you really think I’d fakethat? Come on now. You know me better than that.”
The chat erupts in emojis: tongues, fire, clapping hands, and strings of capital-letter moans. I let them spiral for a beat, then clap my hands sharply and lean back in my chair.
“Alright, alright, enough of that. You little gremlins are insatiable. But tonight isn’t just about Q&A. It’s about creepy, sexy fun times. So let’s do something different.”
I hit play and Halsey’sControlkicks in, loud and theatrical. They want to interrogate me? Fine. Let them watch instead. “This is for my co-star in the woods.”
I stand up, pull my sweater off, and back away until my body is fully in frame. Tonight’s outfit is a black mesh bustier with boning stitched in the shape of a ribcage. No panties. No bra. Thigh-high socks and a velvet collar. I dance, slow and deliberate. Letting the music guide the roll of my hips, the flick of my wrists. I run my hands down my sides, fingers grazing the edge of the bustier, teasing the camera with every slow shift of fabric. I turn, letting my back face the camera, and reach behind me. One clasp at a time, I undo the bustier, dragging it down inch by inch until it pools at my feet. I step out of it like it never mattered.
Then I bend forward just enough to give them a full view, my hands tracing down the backs of my thighs before I slowly straighten and hook a thumb beneath the top of my left sock.
I peel it down slowly, smoothing the fabric over my calf, my ankle, my foot. Then the right. Same pace. Same tease. I toss them both aside without fanfare and run a hand up my torso, pausing at the hollow of my throat.
The velvet collar is last. I look directly into the lens as I unbuckle it. Hold that gaze while I drop it to the floor.
Naked now. Bare and unashamed. I blow a kiss to the camera. “See you next time.”
