I couldn’t hear a thing except for our combined groans, moans, and the way we both panted like we’d run a hundred miles.

Unable to move, I lay on top of her, trying to catch my breath. When my head cleared a little, I worried I might be squishing her. Rolling off, I fell to one side of her. Then she rolled onto her back. “Better than I ever imagined.”

I laughed a little. “Yeah, for me too.”

Emma moved around to lay her head on my chest. “You’ve spoiled me for other men, you know.”

I wrapped my arm around her and kissed the top of her head. “I hope so.”

It wasn’t fair, and I knew that. Emma deserved more than a secret love affair. She deserved to have a normal relationship like anyone else. But she’d chosen to give herself to me. And as selfish as it was, I wasn’t about to give her any freedom to see anyone else, so long as she was with me.

Her fingertips trailed over my chest as her soft lips pressed against my skin. “I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of this.”

“Me neither.” I squeezed her and told her what I’d been thinking. “I don’t want you to see anyone else, Emma.”

She lifted her head to look at me. At first, she seemed confused, but then a smile took over. “Did you think I’d have one taste of sex with you and then go wild, wanting to have sex with any man around, Christopher?”

I didn’t know what I thought. I only thought that I wanted her to be with me and only me. “No. I just wanted to put it out there.”

She put her head back down on my chest. “No need to worry, sexy. I only want you anyway.”
