“Starting now, we’ll have nothing but two weeks ofthat,” he said, nudging the top of her dress down. Only to be met with… “I’m not sure what to do with this,” he said.

She drew back, followed his gaze to her chest, then laughed. “Thankfully, I don’t have to wear this kind of stuff too often. But this, my love, is the secret to avoiding wardrobe mishaps. Underneath all those beautiful dresses is an assortment of contraptions that keep our boobs from moving, our dresses in place so we don’t flash the world, and our bellies smooth. It’s not at all sexy compared to what the rest of the world sees.”

He stared at her chest then lifted his gaze to hers. “You are sexy no matter what you are or aren’t wearing. But this is what’s called a teachable moment, wife of mine. Teach me how to help free you from…” He waved at her chest, not even sure what to call what he was looking at.

She leaned in and kissed him again, then drawing away, she climbed from his lap. Her dress fell, pooling at her ankles. As far as he was concerned, he couldn’t learn fast enough how to get her out of the rest of the items covering her body.

“Follow me,” she said, walking toward the bathroom, still in her heels.

He remained seated, enjoying the view. She paused at the door then turned and looked at him. Leaning against the frame, she smiled.

“Waiting for something? I didn’t think I needed to issue an invitation.”

He rose and stalked toward her. Stopping so close that their bodies touched, he cupped her face between his hands. “I love you,” he said, staring into her deep, dark eyes.

She reached up and brushed a finger along his jaw. “I love you, too. No condoms?” They’d agreed to try for kids as soon as they started their honeymoon. They didn’t know how long it would take or if they’d have any problems, and they wanted to know sooner rather than later.

He grinned. “No condoms.”

She held his gaze then laughed softly. “I can’t tell if that glint in your eye is because you like the idea of nothing between us or because I might get pregnant before Tia.”

His grin turned into a smile. “I don’t see why it can’t be both. With Kara pregnant, I’ve already lost to my younger brother. But maybe we can still beat Cody?”

She laughed again as she draped her arms around his neck and lured him into a slow kiss. Then drawing away, she slid her hand down his arm and took his hand in hers.

“Come on, my own personal lothario. If we want to have any chance at beating them then we need to get this show on the road.”
