ACE
“ S o, how are things with you and Blade going?” Lucas asked, opening the coffee shop door and waiting for Ace to enter.
“Incredible. It was so nice spending a week alone with him, up at the cottage. Suntanning nude, fucking like bunnies, cuddling at night in front of the fire. Other than the mosquito bites I got on my ass, the rest of the week was perfect.”
“Mosquito bites on your ass?”
Ace turned and gave him a stare.
“Do you know how fucking hard it is to not scratch your butt while taking a dick up your ass?” Ace commented, smiling at the woman standing in front of him, who was lucky enough to catch the last part of their conversation.
Lucas chuckled.
“Can’t imagine the pain.”
“Oh, there was pain. So much delicious, sexy pain.” Ace snaked his arm through Lucas’s as they waited to order their coffees.
Once their orders were placed, they stepped out of line and waited off to the side.
“So, I take it Marcus and Blade are buddy-buddy once again?” Lucas asked, shooting off a text on his phone.
Knowing Lucas, he was probably sexting his boyfriend. Ace had never met a couple who fucked so much. He swore their relationship was just based on their dicks.
“Yeah, they have been unusually close lately. Blade’s been talking to him on the phone every night this week since we got back from the cottage. I think the fact that Blade was willing to sacrifice his own life to save mine really made Marcus see just how much he really loves me.”
Lucas nodded as he continued to text on his phone.
“Coffees for Lucas and Ace?” the woman behind the counter called out.
Lucas stepped forward and retrieved their coffees.
“Shall we sit?” Ace asked, motioning toward one of the empty tables.
“No. I’ve got a couple of errands to run. Let’s drink and walk at the same time.”
Shrugging his shoulders, he followed Lucas and their coffees out the door.
It was a gorgeous day outside. The sun was shining, and the birds were softly chirping.
“Can I have my coffee, please?” Ace asked, as Lucas began crossing the intersection, still holding his coffee captive.
There were no cars out—strange for a Saturday afternoon—but Ace didn’t really seem to notice.
“Yeah, I’ll pass it to you in a sec,” Lucas said, hurrying across the street and leaving Ace to walk across on his own.
Strange.
“O… kay… I swear, I showered this morning,” Ace called after his best friend, who apparently couldn’t get away from him fast enough.
From the other side of the intersection, Lucas turned and smiled back at Ace.
What was going on?
Down the road, a thunderous roar began, getting louder with every second that passed.
Ace and several pedestrians turned and watched as a herd of big, burly bikers rode toward them.
“What the?” Ace asked as he began to smile at the sight of his brother and all the members of the Shadow Vipers riding toward him.
Once they reached the intersection, they began riding their bikes in a large circular motion around Ace, whistling and cheering as they caused the biggest ruckus imaginable.
Lucas could no longer be seen on the other side of the street, swallowed up by all the chaos happening around them.
“Marcus, what are you guys doing?” Ace asked, laughing as he watched his brother and friends go wild.
They had all apparently lost their minds.
One by one, the riders all came to a stop, creating a large circle with a small opening to one side.
Caden and Nikolai sat on their bikes, revving their motors, while Alexis and Jake sat on theirs, cheering and clapping as they stared at Ace.
Ace scanned the group of fifteen plus bikers but could not find Blade anywhere amongst them.
“Hey, where’s Blade?” Ace asked, wondering what the fuck was going on.
From within the thunderous roar of chaos, a single motorcycle could be heard approaching.
Ace glanced toward the opening and gasped when he saw Blade ride through it, wearing a suit and sporting a tie.
What the fuck? Now Ace knew that the world had ended. He had never in his life seen Blade dressed in a suit.
Cheers erupted. Engines roared.
Ace watched as his man rode around inside the circle, smiling the biggest smile at Ace that he had ever seen.
Heart beating in his chest, Ace had never felt so seen. So special in all of his life.
This man. This deliciously dangerous and kindhearted man was putting on a show. For him.
Stopping his bike in front of Ace, Blade killed the engine and stepped off it.
He walked the few steps toward Ace, all the while never losing eye contact.
Once he reached Ace, he reached into his jacket and pulled out a single purple rose.
Its petals were gorgeous. Dark purple on the edges and violet toward the middle.
“Ace, my love, just like this rare and beautiful rose, I have never met anyone as unique and gorgeous as you.” Blade handed Ace the rose before taking a step back once again.
Eyes filling with tears, Ace held the rose up to his nose and breathed in the sweet fragrance.
What was happening?
“I’m sorry that it took me such a long time to finally admit to myself just how much you mean to me.
You inspire me, you push me to be a better man.
You call me out when I’m being an idiot, and you’re not afraid to stand up for yourself or others when something is wrong.
I can’t tell you how much you mean to me.
When you are not around, I find it hard to breathe, and my mind can’t focus.
I’m not a rich man or a smart man. But I’m a loyal man.
A trustworthy man. And a man who will always fight for you and protect you for as long as I am breathing air. ”
Ace stared into the warm and passionate eyes of the man he had loved for so many years. This was it. The fantasy he had always dreamed of but never thought would happen.
Blade reached into his jacket once more, then dropped to one knee.
Ace could feel his knees shaking as he looked down at the love of his life.
Taking his hand, Blade popped open the tiny velvet box he held in his palm.
A gold band intertwined with white gold and tiny diamonds stared up at him.
“Ace, my sweet, sexy, and sassy boy, will you make me the happiest man by agreeing to spend your life with me? Will you m?—?”
Without even waiting for the man to finish, Ace shouted “Fuck yes!” and lunged at him, tumbling them over and attacking his lips.
All around them, chaos erupted as people cheered, engines roared, and people whistled.
The next few minutes were a flurry of lips, kisses, hands, and inappropriate grinding.
It wasn’t until Ace heard someone clearing his throat that he remembered they were surrounded by others.
Looking up, Ace’s cheeks quickly flushed when he locked eyes with his big brother, who had his arms folded across his chest, not looking the least bit impressed.
“Oh. Hey, Marcus, guess what? I’m engaged!” Ace noted, quickly looking around for the velvet box that held his engagement ring.
“Here,” Blade said, quickly passing Ace the box.
Ace slipped on the ring, then held it up for his brother to see.
“See?” Ace repeated, smiling from ear to ear.
“I have two conditions that must be met in order to allow this union to happen,” Marcus said in his deep alpha voice.
“First, there will be no humping, grinding, or fornicating between you two when I am in the room. That goes for any sleepovers that might occur before the wedding. When Daddy is home, the house is a sex-free zone.”
Ace tried not to laugh. He knew his brother was just being an ass.
“And the second thing?” Ace asked, daring his brother to say something else outrageous.
“I get to walk you down the aisle.”
Ace’s breath caught in his chest. It wasn’t until this very moment that he realized just how much he loved his big brother.
Fighting back tears, Ace stepped forward and threw his arms around him.
“There is no one else I would ever want to give me away.”
The two hugged each other, each refusing to be the first to let the other go.
“I can’t take it anymore!” Ace heard Lucas cry out behind him, before lunging forward and wrapping his arms around him and his brother. “You’re getting married!” Lucas screamed.
Ace began to laugh as his threesome became a foursome, which quickly turned into a group hug, then a gang hug. Then, eventually, it just became a biker pile-on.
Laughing together, Ace reached for Blade’s hand and smiled as they both locked eyes with one another.
Somehow, he managed to get everything he had always dreamed of. A best friend, a family, a community, and now, the world’s funniest, sexiest, cheekiest, loving man he could ever imagine.
Leaning across Caden’s body, Ace locked his lips with Blade’s. It only took two seconds before the giant biker love fest dispersed, and it was once again just him and Blade.
Lips locked together. Promising to always love, protect, and be there for one another, for the rest of their lives.
“You know, now that we are engaged, I should probably learn your first name,” Blade said, giving him one of his signature “I’m hot, and I can get anything I want” looks.
“Honey, we’re gay. Half the hookups in America don’t even know each other’s names.”
Blade let out a chuckle.
He placed his hands on Ace’s cheeks and stared lovingly into his eyes.
Ace’s heart fluttered knowing that he would gladly give the man anything he wanted, including his name.
“I love you so fucking much,” Blade said, leaning in and kissing his soft lips once again.
“Angelo. My real name is Angelo,” Ace said, playing with Blade’s facial hair. “And I love you too, future husband.”
All around them, the crew cheered and revved their engines once again.
That was the thing about bikers—they were loud, loyal, and fierce as shit.
Ace loved the biker life. Now he got to enjoy that life with the sexiest biker of them all.
The End.
