“At least we have the emailed threat to Lopez safely in the hands of Digital Crimes. Hopefully, that helps the case move forward.”

“Amen to that.”

“We’ve taken care of what Malone wanted. Guess it’s time to notify Eve Kelley’s next of kin.”

They got into the car, and Trent looked up who that might be.

“Kelley was single, lived alone. Her closest living relative is her sister, who lives in Triangle,” he said a few minutes later.

Triangle was a small community within Prince William County. It also happened to be where Zoe had lived with her parents when they were murdered. “Name?”

“Felicity Kelley. She never married either.”

“Take us to her. Let’s get this over with. Then we’ll head back to Central and look at the threats sent to Alicia and Eve.”

“You got it.”

Trent drove while she made another call to have an officer sent out to watch over Reynolds. She sure hoped Eve Kelley wasn’t dead because she and Trent missed something earlier in the investigation. As it was, they still needed to speak with Bethany Wagner but with everything Malone had them doing first, Beth would have to wait.
