Story: Her Dark Obsessions

Dani

With a joint in my hand, I take a puff and pass it to Jules. We dance in front of the mirror while listening to music as we get ready for the club.

Jules dons a flirtatious miniskirt that flares out slightly with every step, complemented by tall, sleek leather boots that accentuate her long legs. She wears my favorite crop-top, showcasing her toned figure beautifully.

I’ve chosen to wear my most stunning dress.

It’s a deep shade of crimson that hugs my silhouette in all the right places.

The color reminds me of Adonis, and I sigh with a smile on my face.

The hemline is daringly short, featuring a seductive slit that gracefully reveals my upper thigh as I move.

The bodice has a low-cut neckline that emphasizes my cleavage, while the long, fitted sleeves conceal the large skin-colored rune symbol on my arm.

The dress is tight enough that I don’t need a bra, and I can’t wear panties because I don’t want lines showing. I’m sure Dax and Killian would be disappointed that I’m not wearing their gold or black underneath this red dress.

Adonis loves the color red.

I smile and sigh.

I match my full lips with my dress in a deep red shade and coat my thick eyelashes with mascara, enhancing the green in my eyes.

“We look hot as fuck!” Jules says as she blows smoke in my face. Her phone pings, “Carter is on his way!”

I take one final look at myself in the mirror and smile. What a shame my guys won’t see me tonight .

Carter pulls in, and Jules and I head out my front door. I lock up and yell, “Shotgun!” as Jules breezes by.

“Ugh! You bitch!” She yells from over her shoulder as she gets in Carter’s backseat.

I slide into the front, “Hey, Carter! Thanks for driving!” I lean in and give him a friendly kiss on the cheek.

“It’s no problem,” He looks me up and down quickly and blushes. “You, ugh, you look beautiful. You both do,” he quickly adds.

“I just want to let loose tonight! Maybe find a hot girl to take home,” Jules chirps as she leans forward, turning up the radio.

I feel guilty that I haven’t told them about Adonis, Killian, and Dax. What would they think of me, dating three men?

“Hey guys!” I yell over the music as I dance to the beat. “I, um… I’m kind of seeing someone!”

I notice Carter’s look of sheer disappointment right away. His knuckles turn white as he grips the steering wheel tightly.

Jules leans forward, gasping, “You little hussy! Tell me all about him!” She looks at Carter and smacks his chest, “Wipe that frown off your face, Carter! You got a good thing going with Destiny!”

“What frown?” Carter smiles, “I’m happy for you, Dani! And yeah, I really do like Destiny. I’m over Dani,” he playfully says, “She’s old news.” I scrunch my nose at him and we all laugh.

“Is he hot? I’m sure he is! How’s his dick?” Jules asks, making her voice louder than the music.

“Jules!” I flick her nose as she leans on her elbows on the center council. “A lady doesn’t kiss and tell. ”

“Oh, horse shit! I don’t see any ladies in this god-damn car!” Jules barks. I turn the music up louder and mouth ‘I can’t hear you,’ just to avoid the questions. Jules rolls her eyes.

Carter parks, and we walk inside the club. It’s jam-packed tonight and very smoky. This is one of the few places you can smoke inside in this town.

Jules and I grab a table, and Carter heads to the bar to grab our drinks.

“Okay, spill!” Jules says as she grabs my knee.

I smile, “Alright… well… he is very handsome. Very talented with his mouth and fingers,” Jules squeals. “And they—”

Carter sets our drinks down. “They?!” Jules quips, and I wave my hand in front of her, taking a big gulp of my vodka-cranberry. “You know what I mean,” I blow her off.

Carter sits next to Jules, across from me, “So, when do we get to meet this mystery man of yours?” he asks.

Just as I am sipping my drink, a man comes up from behind me and I immediately sense who he is, “Now,” his smooth voice says, sending a shiver down my body.

I practically spit out my drink as Dax takes a seat next to me, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. He takes my chin and presses a soft yet claiming kiss to my lips.

I quietly say to him, “What are you doing here?”

Carter’s eyes stay wide as another man sits to my other side, grabbing my chin from Dax and kissing me the same way.

Killian .

Jules’ big eyes are in shock as her jaw hangs open. Fuck, this is embarrassing… And yet their claims are turning me on.

“Uh… well. Um. This i s — ”

Dax laughs, “It’s not very often our girl is at a loss for words, is it Killian?”

Killian laughs and rubs my inner thigh. “No, no, it’s not.” He shifts his gaze to Jules and Carter and extends his hand. “I’m Killian, Dani’s boyfriend.”

Jules and Carter shake his hand, still not saying a single word.

“I’m Dax, her other boyfriend.”

Suddenly, the necklace on my chest hums, and I feel his presence at my back. My body shudders.

With strong hands, I am lifted out of my seat, and Adonis sits there, pulling me in his lap, while Dax and Killian sip their whiskey on either side. A quiet but noticeable growl rumbles from his chest as he glares at Carter.

Julia has the biggest smile on her face.

“And I’m Adonis. Her number one,” and he tips my head back and kisses me passionately. His tongue slips past my lips, and I welcome him. He hasn’t kissed me like this yet.

My heart beats fast, and I squeeze my legs together tightly for friction.

“Aw, come on, Adonis, why you gotta do us dirty like that?” Killian says while rubbing his perfect jawline.

I push my lips together and look back and forth at Jules and Carter, waiting for one of them to say something.

“Well, holy fucking shit, Dani. When you said someone, you didn’t mention THREE someones!!” Jules twirls her straw around in her drink as she breaks the ice. Carter looks like he just shit a brick .

“How, uh, how does this work?” Carter’s brows are pushed together as he waves his finger back and forth between the three of them.

“Would you like me to draw you a picture? Or perhaps I’ll take a photo next time and send it to you. I’m sure you’d enjoy the details,” Dax says with irritation.

I smack his chest, “Dax! Stop.”

“No, that won’t be necessary,” Carter says, shaking his head.

“What, Carter? Do you have a problem with three men and one woman? I bet if it was a man with three women you’d think that would be pretty cool, huh? Fucking hypocrite. Don’t judge our woman.”

“Okay, Dax! Enough! Carter is just processing everything,” I say, sticking up for my best friend.

“No, no he isn’t, Dani. Dax is right. Carter is a hypocrite, and he is most certainly judging you,” Adonis says, his voice vibrating my entire body.

They are pissing me off and Jules senses that. I shift in Adonis’ lap.

“Whatever. Dani, as long as you’re happy and safe, that’s all I care about. I’m going to find Destiny,” Carter says. Something in his tone seemed a little sad.

Jules rises energetically, breaking the tension.

Her eyes sparkling with mischief. “Come on, Dani, let’s hit the dance floor!

” she exclaims, tilting her head back to down the last of her drink in one swift motion.

She perches on the table’s edge, her enthusiasm infectious.

I pull my straw from my glass, downing my drink in a single gulp, then gracefully push off Adonis’ lap.

Grabbing Jules’ hand, I can feel the pulse of the music beckoning us .

Our laughter rises above the noise as we weave through the crowd. I look over my shoulder to see Carter chatting with Destiny now. His eyes keep darting to me and back to her. I feel kind of bad. The guys were dicks to him.

The dance floor is filled with the warmth of bodies moving in rhythm and the smell of sweat.

A waitress walks by and Jules catches her gaze. “Two shots of absinthe, please!” The waitress nods and makes her way back to the bar.

Jules and I start dancing, she shouts over the music, “Three, Dani?! You fucking go, girl! I’m so proud of you! What’s it like?!” Jules asks, being the supportive friend she is.

“Well, it’s new. Very new. I’m just having fun,” I lied. I know damn well this is more than just having ‘fun’… I’m past that already.

“Who’s your favorite?” She shouts, and I know they heard her and are waiting for an answer.

“Don’t have one yet. I’ve only slept with one of them so far. I have to find out if the other two are as good of a lay as Killian was.” I smile to myself, knowing Dax and Adonis are brooding over my comment.

I turn my body so my back is against Jules and I start grinding against her, feeling eyes on me as I dance.

“Shall we put on a show? They are all watching you with hungry eyes.” Jules traces her hand up my leg and holds my hips as our bodies collide and move to the music.

“I fucking love your mind, Jules!” I take her hand and run it up my side, up my chest, and then place it at my throat, then back down my body again.

I glance over at our table. Adonis sits with his arms crossed and an angry look on his face. He looks like he isn’t breathing .

While Dax is adjusting himself, Killian is watching me with a very big smile on his face. Fuck, they are perfect.

I ignore them and keep dancing with Jules. The waitress comes back to us with the bright green shot, and we take them.

Feeling a buzz, I let the music take me away. Song after song, we get lost in dancing until we are breathless and sweaty.

Adonis strides over to us with a swagger.

The smirk on his face is confident and pulls me against his body.

I start dancing on him, seductively swaying my body down his while I hold his hips.

When I stop between his legs, I take a good look at the bulge in his pants and lick my lips.

I wiggle myself back up and then turn my body, so my ass is against him.

I start to grind into him and feel his hot breath on my ear.

His tongue traces my earlobe as his hips start swaying to the beat of the music.

He is not a bad dancer.
