Page 49 of Happy Valentine's Day, Omega

My Alpha and I still play chess regularly to settle arguments and rile the other up with methods of distraction.

"What! No way, Magnus. You lost. Fair and square. I didn't cheat."

He shrugs again and looks at his expensive watch I bought him for our one-year mating anniversary. "And you just happened to be wearing a new set of lingerie, my sneaky little mate?"

Well, he wasn't complaining at the time.

"Fine," I sigh, and he smiles in triumph. "But then we're even."

"Aha! So you admit you cheated," he says with a wolfish grin.

I glare, but can't help smiling.

I walk around his desk and kiss him deeply. He groans, and his tongue invades my mouth. His taste is delicious, and the urge to straddle him is overwhelming. I crave his knot constantly.

He grips my hips and pulls me closer.

"I love you, Alpha."

"Love you too, baby girl. Now go get ready." He pulls away and gives my ass a smack. "The event is being held at The Omega Academy, so sure to wear something risqué to make the headmistress lose her mind."

I grin wickedly. The academy thought they'd seen the last of my rebellious ass when they kicked me out. They haven't seen anything yet. Hell hath no fury like an Omega scorned.

"Oh, and baby girl?"

"Yes, Alpha?"

"Happy Valentine's Day, Omega."
